just realized that Lasogga's half brother and son of ex GK Oliver Reck (96 Euro winner and Bremen Legend), 02-Gian Luca Reck plays at Duisburg U19 he moved there in Summer.

02-Reck is a 1.96m GK who started the last 2 U19 games before break and keeping clean sheet in both games. His dad was 1.93m tall. 2 massive wins as it allowed the club to go from relegation zone to safety.

the last brother is Etienne Reck who believe is 06 and not sure if/where he plays.

For talents like Moukoko and Co .: Bundesliga apparently wants to lower the age limit
In the Bundesliga, youth players aged 16 and over could be eligible to play in the coming season. According to information from the newspapers "Bild" and "Welt", the DFL commissions football and youth performance centers should plead for a rule change.

Can BVB prodigy Youssoufa Moukoko start playing in the Bundesliga next season? With 26 goals in 21 games, the former German youth international shows that the move from U17 to U19 from Borussia Dortmund was not too early. According to information from the newspapers Bild and Welt, the next leap from top talents like Moukoko could be significantly faster in the future. As of next season, all players who are at least 16 years old should be eligible to play in the Bundesliga.

So far, the rule applies that Bundesliga professionals must belong to at least the younger U19 age group, i.e. in the calendar year in which the game year begins, they must be 17 or 18 years old. This was the case with Nuri Sahin, among others, who made his Bundesliga debut in 2005 at the age of 16 years and eleven months and is still the youngest debutant in league history to this day. Moukoko could replace him with a new age limit regulation on November 20, 2020 - then the striker will be 16 years old.

As the newspapers report, the general assembly of the German Football League (DFL) should vote with all 36 clubs from the first and second league on the application for a lowering of the age limit, which Borussia Dortmund is said to have already announced. The DFL commissions football and youth performance centers should plead for approval. In the other top leagues in Europe, the age limit has already dropped to 16 years. Fulham professional Harvey Elliott was the youngest debutant in Premier League history last year at the age of 16 and 30 days.
    https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/...a-senken-talente-moukoko-bvb-antrag-16-jahre/

not sure this good idea, 16 is way too young and school too. On top of that the age limit for players to move from one Euro country with EU passport to another for footballing reasons is 16, so are we going to see foreign 16 years olds now play 1BL-2BL too?

One thing that's annoying about German youngsters is how our players lag physically compared to other countries. Feels like too many aren't ready until like 19-20+. Now imagine reducing age limit by 1 year.....

we don’t lack physical kids .... better than Italy and Spain, on par with Netherlands and Portugal , maybe worse than France and England

just that there are many scientific experiments show that physical training too early will destroy players’ expectancy.

like what Jardim said about Pietro Pellegri, who is so injury prone even at 19.

our players won’t emerge as early but they will have a longer career in general .

Moukoko in the Bundesliga in November?
DFL wants to lower age limit to 16 years

Storm talent Youssoufa Moukoko celebrates his 16th birthday on November 20. If the DFL assembly approves at the end of March, it could already be used in the Bundesliga. The DFL commissions football and youth performance centers advocate lowering the age limit. Borussia Dortmund announces a corresponding application.

When can he run in the Bundesliga? Dortmund's top talent Youssoufa Moukoko.picture alliance
The rule still applies that players must either have reached the age of 18 or belong to the younger U 19 class to receive the green light for the Bundesliga. The DFL is now planning to lower the age limit to 16 years. "Basically we think it is expedient to give young players as much time as possible for their individual development. In exceptional cases, it can make sense to bring top talents to the highest level earlier, as examples from abroad show," said Joti Chatzialexiou , the sporting director of the national teams at the DFB. In this respect, an opening for the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga is "justifiable". The DFB receives support from Borussia Dortmund: BVB will submit a corresponding proposal at the next DFL general assembly. "World" and "Image" reported about it on Thursday first.

Borussia Dortmund has shown that a "Lex Moukoko" should be created here. Moukouko, as a 15-year-old, scored goals on the assembly line in the U 19 of Borussia Dortmund (26 in 21 competitive matches this season) and, according to previous practice, could make his Bundesliga debut in August 2021 at the earliest.

    Ricken sees "major competitive disadvantage"
"We currently have a major competitive disadvantage compared to other leagues and international competitions because we are not allowed to use very young players who have exceptional talent in Germany in the professional team. Incidentally, we did not have these cases today, we already had them at BVB under the direction of Jürgen Klopp, "says Lars Ricken, Dortmund’s youth coordinator. According to kicker information, these include Felix Passlack (now Fortuna Sittard) or Dzenis Burnic (now Dynamo Dresden), who Klopp would have liked to send to the big Bundesliga stage earlier.

Ricken adds: "Unfortunately there are currently several concrete examples of players deciding against the Bundesliga because they can be deployed to the professional team much earlier abroad. In our view, it is necessary for German football, its development and Competitiveness to offer optimal training for different development courses. For every type of development, whether early or late developer, there should be a professional training path. "

On the trail of Lukaku and Co.
Ricken means players like Romelu Lukaku (Anderlecht / 16 years, 3 months, 9 days), Martin Ödegaard (Real Madrid / 16 years, 5 months, 6 days) or Reece Oxford (West Ham / 16 years, 7 months, 24 days) that were used early in their leagues - but had not yet received a game permit in Germany. That should change now.

    Concerns with Nagelsmann
But not the whole Bundesliga is agreed on this topic. Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann points out: "If I push the players up even earlier, they will be put under even more pressure, will be looked at even more in the media. I cannot imagine that it would be great for personal development if he was 16 can already play Bundesliga. "

    https://www.kicker.de/767813/artikel/dfl_will_altersgrenze_auf_16_jahre_senken

seems to be mostly Dortmund who want this. Do they expect to win trophies with 16 year olds? And it's not even about German players from Ricken it seems they want to lure more and more foreign players. Not sure what that has anything to do with German football and foreign 16 year olds.

98-Lauberbach to Bayern II while Arp headed on loan? Not sure if this is supposed to be for Winter or Summer.

FC Bayern Munich is thinking about a new youth striker. According to the information in the picture, Lion Lauberbach from Holstein Kiel should change to the record champions. Because Fiete Arp is about to jump?

Bild reports that FC Bayern want to transfer Kiel striker Lion Lauberbach. Either the 21-year-old already comes in a rental business in winter (with purchase option). Or he will only move to Munich next summer - a transfer fee of 1.5 to two million euros is under discussion.

    Bayern must replace Wriedt
At FC Bayern, Lauberbach should also train with the professionals, but is primarily planned for the second team. The background: Kwasi Wriedt, top scorer of Bavaria's reserve team (13 goals this season), is being wooed by foreign clubs and will probably make the jump in summer. Since Joshua Zirkzee recently made an impression on the professionals, the top talent does not seem to be a permanent option for the second team. That's why Lauberbach should come here!

    Kwasi Okyere Wriedt
Wriedt is the most important player for FC Bayern II - but will soon be gone
At first glance, the transfer of the Kieler seems very unusual: In the current season, Lauberbach near Holstein Kiel was only used for 140 minutes (!), Mostly it is only substituted for the final minutes. He did not succeed in participating in the goal. According to the Bild, he is said to have impressed the Bayern scouts anyway: "Technically good, physically robust and, despite its size, very fast" - that's how the tabloid describes him.

Arp at Bayern before the (temporary) jump?
Lauberbach's transfer is not only necessary because of Wriedt's impending departure. Bild further reports that Fiete Arp could also leave the record champions. There should be considerations within the association to borrow him.
    https://www.90min.de/posts/6542922-fc-bayern-heiss-auf-kiel-stuermer-arp-vor-ausleihe

where exactly do you loan out a 20 year old CF to get as much game time as possible? As many XI as possible. Seems very doubtful in 1BL, II is already in 3rd Liga which leaves only 2BL or abroad. But 2BL isn't really a great place for young CFs, especially for XI and the table standing is too close for too many clubs. Would say that Arp already has pro experience should be a + for him and that he's rated too should help make it easier. Kiel already has Reese, lyoha and Serra for CFs. Seems much more likely abroad.

sucks that being injured for half a year basically delayed Arp.

Lauberbach is not a Bayern 1st team prospect anyways. Just that II teams are only allowed 3 over 23 players in squad and he would currently be viewed as underage player and he has plenty of 3rd Liga experience and some 2BL as well.

any Eredivisie clubs that could use someone like Arp? @feyenoordsoccerfan .;)

1220385416026775553 is not a valid tweet id

Bayern's 1st teamers are dicks, publicly they praise the young players (saving face) but behind the scenes they ALWAYS want transfers in. How are you supposed to integrate young players when you always bring in more players to block the young ones? But the older players don't care they just want to win everything. Seriously what is point of more transfers when injured players should be back soon?

I really don't think Mai will get any real chances at Bayern, bet you he gets loaned out in Summer while Bayern gets a new cb who will take Boa's spot. Was blocked from going to 2 consecutive loans due to club wanting him as back up player in case of more injuries and nothing more. Also more and more clubs don't trust inexperienced CBs which is why Germany will have it tough to dev cbs going forward. On top Martinez and Hernandez will soon be back. You know clubs don't trust young CBs when Alaba moves from LB to CB and Martinez is also used as CB. That Bayern II is already in 3rd Liga means any loans is at worse 2BL. Sucks that had Mai went on loan last season he would have had real experience besides his 2 1BL games as a then 17 year old. And could have been seen as real alternative.

more reason why the more integration Dajaku gets this season the better since Bayern will spend in Summer and at least he won't be seen as "inexperienced kid" by that point. Also that OBM gets chances too.

Antonis Aidonis: One of the preparation winners?
Lilian Egloff and Antonis Aidonis remain in the training of the professionals

That Lilian Egloff is currently the junior player at VfB with the greatest future in the Swabians has not been clear since the words of his boss and CEO Thomas Hitzlsperger, who raved about him in the highest tones. Egloff played at the Mercedes-Benz JuniorCup earlier this year and took third place in the international indoor tournament with the U19. The training camp in Marbella with the professionals followed immediately for the 17-year-old. Florian Kleinhansl, Nick Bätzner, Sebastian Hornung and Antonis Aidonis from VfB youth were also present in Spain. Egloff and Aidonis were on Wednesday morning at the start of the training session the week before the game against Heidenheim that the U19 to U21 were invited to the training of the professionals.

    Second chance this season
Antonis Aidonis was already part of the squad in the summer training camp in Kitzbühl, but was ordered back to the U21 with Sebastian Hornung by Tim Walter as one of the first youth players and no longer played a major role in the plans of the former head coach. New trainer new luck? At the start of training at the beginning of January and in the winter camp, Aidonis was again with the professionals under the new coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, played a good role in central defense in the test games against Basel and Fehervar and can now stay for the time being. The injury to Holger Badstuber certainly plays a role, because if Matararzzo wants to play with a triple chain, defenders are in demand in the squad. It remains to be seen whether the 18-year-old international will be able to assert himself with the professionals after Badstuber's comeback and will take his second chance. For the second team of VfB, Aidonis played 13 league games in the top division this season. Antonis Aidonis was able to sniff Bundesliga air against Nuremberg and Wolfsburg at the end of 2018. Will there be professional bets in the second highest division?
    https://onefootball.com/de/news/ant...er-vorbereitung-de-28850501?variable=20200123

So Batzner, Hornung (GK) and Kleinhansl return to II while 01-Aidonis and 02-Egloff stay both are still U19 eligible. Of course Massimo, Awoudja and Mack are still with 1st team too. How long does Awoudja have though? Seems like clock is ticking. Mack at least is very flexible player which is his big +. And 03 CB Suver is the next interesting CB at the club, already in U19, up an age group.

Triple chain should make it easier to integrate young CBs. Hornung is GK makes sense. Kleinhansl is likely viewed as back up LB/LWB with the exit of Insua. Batzner seems like an interesting guy but everyone always brings up that he's currently physically lacking which is why other players are ahead.

    speaking of Batzner, lol.

update on Stuttgart's 00 CF Hottmann (3rd Liga loan).

This ultimately led to the club changing coaches during the winter break and installing two new instructors, Mike Sadlo and Heiner Backhaus. The relegation with four points behind the saving bank is “a Herculean task”, according to our experts, that the new coaching duo not only has to form the team again, but also probably win at least eight or nine of the remaining 18 games to win one to have a realistic chance. The change of coach could also have a positive effect for the VfB loaner, says Grün and Schmidt, if it were used in his favorite position in the storm center. Hottmann played most of the games as right winger, but Hottmann's strengths would come into play better in the storm center, so he showed his perhaps best season performance right before the winter break in the 1-1 draw against league leaders Duisburg as part of a two-man storm.

His strengths include its physical presence and robustness. Also because he often played on the outside lane, he has not yet been able to prove his danger of scoring, and he still lacks an overview. In view of the poor team performance, it was difficult to judge whether Hottmann had developed positively in the first half of the season, but he hadn't noticed anything negative. This also fits with the information we received from team circles that Hottmann is developing well. Would Eric Hottmann be ready after the end of the loan to optimally play for VfB in the Bundesliga? If the VfB is promoted, it makes sense to borrow it again, our experts believe, since the leap from third class is too big. Basically, both see a new loan in a functioning Großaspacher third division team as useful.

Better than in the top division
My assessment: When VfB awarded Eric Hottmann to Großaspach, it was certainly not expected that the club, which was to become a cooperation partner a little later, could possibly play in the same league as their own second team in the coming season. The news that all player contracts there only apply to the 3rd league makes me think. On the other hand, the cooperation with Großaspach and the loan from Hottmanns there are quite obvious, in the truest sense of the word. Hottmann continues to play in the region, does not have far to Stuttgart and plays for a club that has only completed one of the previous five third-league seasons in a single-digit table position, but has basically established itself in the league. I think it is unrealistic that the U21 of VfB will rise to third class again in the foreseeable future due to the strength of the Regionalliga Südwest. Even if Hottmann has not yet been able to confirm his youth figures, the 3rd division is a good start in the men's division. Let's hope that he can not only gain experience but also success in the second half of the season with goals and assists. In the event of a descent to Großaspach, however, we should under no circumstances lend him there again, but rather introduce him slowly to the professional team. Of course, not every successful young player is automatically a first-class player in the men's area, ask Manuel Janzer and Bernd Nehrig. Should Hottmann be able to confirm his achievements in senior youth in the future, it would be nice if he did that in the chest ring and not, like some of his predecessors, really flourishes until he has left VfB. If you want to learn more about Hottmann, you should also listen to episode 19 of the excellent key player podcast, because Hottmann was a guest there in September 2018.

back up also means sub and alternate that's more game time than most give out for young CFs.

honestly I prefer the German-Dutch exchange over the German-Frenchie one. German-Dutch is 2 ways, German-Frenchies are one way as in all Frenchies to Germany while nothing going there in return. Believe Kehrer/Draxler are only Germans in pretty much all of France.

concerning Arp I think his issue is that
1-he's very likely NOT getting any 1st team integration this season. Lewa is likely to play all games and Zirkzee is ahead (even physically) over Arp. I just don't see Bayern integrating 2 young CFs in 1st team in same season. The club also sees Muller/Gnabry as potential players to play CF if need be. There is currently only space for one person. Hardest position to get game time after GK. Zirkzee is also used in UEFA YL too, so even more reason to stick around.
2-Bayern II seems to see the overage Wriedt as essential to survival and with Kuhn as likely AM where does that leave Arp? Sub CF in 3rd Liga or W? lol. Even W, OBM is likely to get one spot.....

seems to be in not so great place all due to his wasting half season injured. Seems likely either he gets loan this Winter or in Summer. The whole Lauberbach eventually (key word) replacing Wriedt, even if Lauberbach never shows up, the point is that Wriedt's replacement isn't viewed as being Arp. Which makes sense since you don't want the real 1st team prospects to waste time in 3rd Liga in long run and the Wriedt/Lauberbach CF is the one who's always supposed to be in II, too important.

might be for the best, if he can breakthrough at higher level than 3rd Liga and perform he could make the 1st team without slow integration. Always the issue you can't integrate too many players in same position especially CFs. Doable if someone goes on loan and then comes back, so then it's only 1 integration, not 2. If Arp goes on loan maybe we don't see him in 1st team until 2021 or 2022. I doubt if he gets Winter loan that he'll be back for real in 2020. There could be another loan in Summer, 1 or 2 seasons. Arp does have 2024 contract too.

I don't mind him going on loan if he can truly find a club that will play him a lot. That's the tricky part. It really is why he should have joined Bayern AFTER he really brokenthrough elsewhere, was too eager to join.

"For the 2004 vintage, the U 16 UEFA development tournament in the Algarve in Portugal is the first test in tournament form," says Prus. "Unlike the previous comparisons, which we carried out in so-called double international matches (two international matches against the same opponent within a few days, editor's note), we now have the opportunity for the first time to test and prove ourselves against different opponents Our focus will be on being able to implement the elements that we developed in the winter training camp in La Manga in early January in the games, which will be interesting to see against the various teams from the Netherlands, Portugal and Colombia Bringing the place. Of course it is also our goal to make the games successful from our point of view. "

-98 Schubert could continue to be Schalke's #1 even after Nubel's suspension.
    https://www.ligainsider.de/markus-schubert_8133/schubert-verbleib-im-schalker-tor-geplant-284824/

-98 GK Fromman (on loan from Freiburg) is #1 consideration as #1 is open at the 3rd Liga club.
Which style of play you will choose should also be decisive for the T question. If they prefer a courageous approach, where the defense is higher, Frommann's footballing advantages and his advantages in penalty area control, i.e. a more modern goalkeeper game, would be more in demand. If the "village club" is low and has to allow many shots on goal, the tendency towards strong, more "classic" goalkeeper Reule should go.
    https://www.liga-drei.de/sonnenhof-grossaspach-neustart-fuer-frommann/

-01 Kopf extends at Stuttgart. Let's hope II get that RL promotion this Summer.

-01 Ehlers looks to be out injured for "several weeks".
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/dynamo-dresden-ehlers-fehlt-laenger/

-Koch is very likely gone from Freiburg between now and Summer. Could be more chances for N.Schlotterbeck.

yeah I'm also curious. Seen comments say that if he leaves it's not about performances and could be more that he doesn't feel right at the club. He did after all come from Koln, that's a different region to Munich.

    -Maier update
"It is very tight at Arne. We have to see what it looks like in the final training session", exercise manager Jürgen Klinsmann said.

-97 GK Kastenmaier who made his 1BL debut last weekend where he scored an OG in a 1-0 loss. Also played in DFB Cup, so that's a min of 3 pro games this season for him.
"Florian Kastenmaier will be playing. From the beginning there was not a second that I thought about changing it. There was no reason for that. The boy has my trust and he will be in goal in Leverkusen," said head coach Friedhelm Look through the sparkle.

"The boy performed flawlessly for over 90 minutes and then failed in a moment. But other goalkeepers have already done that. I won't take that goalkeeper out," added the training manager.

-02 Egloff scored final goal in a 3-1 win in friendly vs fellow 2BL club Dynamo.

Massimo played 30 min. Egloff/Aidonis (clean sheet) played 14 min. LOL, 3/3 of their goals only happened due to their youth players.
After the break, the Swabians increased again, which also had to do with the appearance of Roberto Massimo. The youngster came into play for Stenzel after 60 minutes and strongly prepared for Mario Gomez's equalization in the 65th minute. After a dynamic run through midfield, he served Hamadi Al Ghaddioui, who in turn was able to stage Gomez. After that not much came from Dresden. In the 75th minute, Al Ghaddioui increased the point after a foul on Massimo to 2-1 and with the final whistle Lilian Egloff put the final point to 3-1.

    "Weser-Kurier"
First summer deal: Werder gets Osnabrücks Agu - Leipzig, BVB & Co. cut out
SV Werder Bremen apparently made Felix Agu (photo) his first new signing for the 2020/21 season. As the "Weser Courier" reports with reference to their own information, the 20-year-old VefL Osnabrück full-back has signed a four-year contract with the Green and Whites. An announcement of the deal is to follow “soon”.

Werder has reportedly prevailed against RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and SC Freiburg in the campaign for the German Under-21 international. Both the "Red Bulls" and BVB had submitted concrete offers to secure the services of Agus. Those offers are said to have been financially more lucrative than the Werder offer. Almost all clubs from the Bundesliga had the player on the slip, it is said. Thanks to its contract, which expires in June, Agu can switch free of charge.

According to the report, the Osnabrück native chose the greater chance of appearances - pro Werder and versus Freiburg, which was said to have been in the race for a long time. The relegation-prone club from the Weser obviously does not have to fear for its first summer access even when going to the 2nd division. Accordingly, the transfer was fixed regardless of Werder's affiliation to the league - the contract applies to both the first and second leagues. For Agu, Werder is a "good intermediate step on the way to becoming a top club," writes the "Weser Courier".

Agu is advised by ex-Werder Bremen manager Eichin
Agu, who is also said to have drawn the interest of English, Dutch and Belgian clubs, made 14 appearances for VfL Osnabrück in the current season - doing so on five assists. Ex-Werder manager Thomas Eichin, who as managing director of the Sam Sports consultancy takes care of Agus' interests, did not want to comment on the future of his client when asked by the newspaper.

now we need 98-Passlack to play higher level this upcoming Summer and we'll get more RBs at higher level. Kuntz needs to stop playing R.Baku at RB. Between Agu (RB/LB), Passlack, Beyer (CB/RB), and Vagnoman (LB/RB). Also hope that Amade can get higher level in Summer. And Beyer/Vagnoman also eligible for 2023 U21 being 00s.

speaking of RBs, 00-Ludewig on loan from RB Salzburg to Championship has already played 2 games and 110 minutes since his move. 1 20 min sub appearance and 1 full 90. Could be another RB option depending on what he does come Summer time.

other potential RB options are 00-Massimo who seems to be retrained to play there at Stuttgart. Of course he needs to really play more.

and speaking of 00 RB Smolinski seems to be having a trial at H96. He was at H96 before leaving to Schalke and now seems like he's returning. If he's signed by H96, he will likely start in II before any 1st team chance.

have to say I'm intrigued by the prospect of having OBM, Dajaku, Arp and Kuhn all play together. These players have never played together anywhere. OBM-Dajaku have played together in Germany and this season at Bayern and Kuhn-Arp have played together in Germany. But never the 4 together since 2 are 00s and 2 are 01s and all 4 were in different clubs.

Bayern II plays Sunday so we could possibly see Dajaku play. Even if Arp gets Winter loan very likely he plays this weekend since Wriedt is suspended for this weekend and transfer market is open until one week for now.

we could see 4/4 together in XI, lol.

when OBM was asked to describe Dajaku he said he's fast and good dribbler and when Dajaku was asked to describe OBM he said he's fast and good in 1v1, lol. Then Kuhn is a guy who is all about very good technique, dribbling, overview especially in 10 and very fast with ball at his feet. Arp himself has dribbling skills even embarrassing full on pros in Summer while playing W,lol. Will be curious to see how the 4 do together. Although would expect some disconnect since Kuhn is new to team, Arp just recently came back and this would be 1st competitive game for him in ages. If anyone could be missing in this game its likely Dajaku as he's likely to still be with 1st team bench.

seems like very good chance that 01-Stiller who impressed vs a 3rd Liga promotion contender might be in contention to start since Singh is red locked. In that game, Stiller was said to be very good and was clicking very well with OBM. Even Zirkzee majority of his U19 goals for Bayern this season were all Stiller throughballs and assists.

Some lower league stuff, Noel Futkeu,a 17 year old striker made his debut today for RW Essen in 4th league against Köln II (1-0,goal by former youth international Amara Conde).
Futkeu is described as fast and physically advanced by his U19 coach

cool thanks for the update. Sometimes I think the lesser known players are more interesting than the guys viewed as top talents. One can find numerous interesting players in lower leagues and smaller clubs. If his club manages promotion Futkeu a 02 could be in 3rd Liga next season. Seems like he scored 6 goals in 8 games in lower U19 league as well, RW Essen U19 also going for promotion.

speaking of Conde, he's attracting numerous 2BL-3rd Liga interest but wants to stay this season to help RW Essen get promotion. Sounds like he could jump to 2BL in Summer.
