thought Mier did good for Junior, would have thought he'd stay. Rodriguez is a top CB imo, you should be good there.
Mier undeperfomed....especially in great games. Rodriguez can add leadership as main quality...........but is a gamble in football aspect, colombia is a fabric of cbs so for me isnt a very smart bought knowing that he isnt cheap...............murillo, tesillo, pacho meza, cadavid, felipe aguilar...that arent part of our main squad could be starters in peru nt no doubt The best cb 2016 in peru was anier figueroa that is sub in millos and he was proposed to peruvian national team https://elbocon.pe/futbol-peruano/s...eroa-puede-ser-una-opicon-para-gareca-133548/
you could be right, anier figueroa was kinda crap actually for Millonarios. Don't understand how he could have been a top CB over there, really weird. the peruvians rate Rodriguez very highly so im going off of them. I've also thought he was decent the few times i've seen him play.
Look he was proposed by the press to be part of the peruvian national team... https://elbocon.pe/futbol-peruano/s...eroa-puede-ser-una-opicon-para-gareca-133548/ Yeah mudo isnt bad but if he is going to add something should be his leadership.......
I also like the idea of a guy who to my understanding represents a lot in Peru, is a captain, played in the WCQ and will be participating etc. the thought of that guy playing for anyones national team is pretty sad. We complain about Medina a lot but its between the two I think I know which I'd pick
Rodriguez is one of the 3 players that I would not trade on the Peruvian national team (Guerrero and Trauco the other 2). He's a rock and I think he's an excellent signing for Junior. I do not understand what he was doing in Peru the last 2 years as he's by 200 kilometres the best defender in the league.
i dont have doubt about that and junior need a leader in defense beside viera....but his salary isnt low im sure, and dont think so that he will stay in the club more than a year is mudo injury prone??? (i read a lot of twitter ) about that
Yep, that's the problem, but its not as bad as some make him out. When he gets injured he usually misses 3 or 4 games at the max.
I like the pick up and wish we would go after more Peruvian, Paraguayan, Venezuelan NT players then 35 year old Argies or Uruguayans
Viera might leave for Chile. Hope so I don’t rate him that high. I don’t think he can see that far away http://www.goal.com/es-co/noticias/...s-sobre-el-mercado/1lb6wcq79lr9m1920j0wr58n26 Any way Nacional and Junior might lose their keepers. Sure one will take Millos keeper but hopefully both discover a Gem for us at the WC.
Viera is above the other 80% of goalies in the league...........only vikonis is at his same level and maybe cuadrado armani was above dont think so catolica can pay more than junior....
I just don’t like him. I don’t think he can see far away. Again I know you made fun of me in the past or said I was being a nacionalist but Colombian teams need to give Colombians a fking shot at goal!!! Millos bought a 19 year old fking keeper!! Everyone all about that dude because another club gave him a shot then Venezuela did! I also don’t like Junior because of when the other team in Barranquilla was around they didn’t want to spend money and were assholes about loaning players they never gave shots to or about the team using the stadium they don’t own. I don’t care what the other owner was into
The thing is crzd, you can count with the fingers of a single hand the national teams that have an u-20 goalkeeper in the starting spot. Fariñez is a very special case and an extraordinary talent, as IS Donnarumma and was David Ospina.
Yea but Ospina wasn’t that great either he made a ton of shit blunders at Nacional and was a heart attack anytime he left the box..... he was protected by Nacional something other teams haven’t done. Libis Arenas seemed very good too but he had discipline problems Not saying start 20 year old keepers but give some of these dudes a shot. Some of these teams have 33 year old dudes who are like have they ever even started a game? In their whole careers?
And that's why he only started playing as the main keeper for the NT when he was around 22 or 23. I've always blamed the teams for our lack of goalkeepers, we've had decent ones pretty much every generation, but since they only start playing regularly when they are at least 23 or 24 they've Lost some very important years of development. Just training with the senior team isn't enough.
I know man, I'm just going to start watching Los partidos de Las tiburonas. I'm so buying a regnier Jersey
what do you think of Jose Luis Chunga? I've read a ton of good stuff about him over the years but I've never seen him play. Apparently he had interest from Mexico and Brazil according to twitter but I don't know if this was true.
