- August 19th announced over 22k had been sold - Said after coach announcement sales rate doubled - based on @Kev_K numbers they have sold 491 since some time around Oct 3rd - That is an average of 70 per week for the last 7 weeks - Since they said the rate doubled for at least a limited time after the coach announcement I think it is safe to estimate an average of 80 per week between Aug 19 - Oct 3. Also the rate appeared to slow after the stadium announcement. 80 per week for this time period is probably low. ~6.5 weeks * 80 = 520 520 + 491 = 1011 I would guess they are over 23k now.
Now we can start watching as sections sell out. This was saved on Atl Utd's site with the upload date of 11-16-16:
In Garber's words Atlanta has now sold 25k tickets. "And some of the successes that we think we're going to see, or all the indicators point to, in Atlanta where we're going to be playing in a NFL stadium and we have 25,000 season tickets sold and that's not a soccer specific stadium." http://www.cincinnati.com/story/spo...ey-have-done-lot-things-really-well/94635734/
Ok, all I was saying is that the ST number kept going up. I was not watching the STH numbers like some on here were. So if the numbers kept going up, it would be extremely hard for non STH to get tickets at Grant Field. From what I have seen of the games on TV, the place looked packed. Nothing more. At MBS of course there will be tickets for non STH.
