So what do people think? Will they go with the Falcon's colors? IMO thats not the worst scenario. I like the Falcon's colors. What other ideas of colors do people like?
I want some originality and creativity in this team, both the name and colors, that make it stand out in the city from the rest of the teams. Red and Black is a tired combo and prevalent already in MLS. Something I would like, and I am pretty sure I will be in the minority on this one, is a Maroon/Burgundy and Peach. I have always like Maroon and Burgundy on jerseys and think it is under used. The Peach plays well with Maroon or Burgundy and it plays with the state. We are the Peach State and its a nice nod in color.
I'm thinking a bright teal/blue with a bright red for home. Option two would be something similar to the braves. It's not origional but I like the navy threads.

I'm glad you like your colors. That is the only thing you're going to find enjoyable about this Thursday. Your team can admire them while they're on the ground after being cut-blocked.
I ********ing hate all of those illegal blocks that will inevitably occur on most of the plays. I'm not looking forward to the game. I didn't think it would be possible for VT's offense to be worse than it has been the past decade. I was very wrong. Unfortunately, much like a few years ago when a few uniforms for key players mysteriously went missing and VT players had to wear GT shirts with Nike swooshes drawn on, VT won't be wearing their traditional uniform or colors(you know how it goes when schools with different uniform suppliers meet). I heard GT players were jealous of the VT helmets and have their own ideas...
You have to be kidding. I like the Camo ones, but these stone ones that you'll be wearing on Thursday have to be the ugliest helmets ever worn.
It's hard to judge an incomplete helmet. Unfortunately, that is what has happened and few in media or online will reassess things after the game. I'm withholding judgment until after I see them on Thursday. The addition of a couple stickers can completely change the look of a helmet. Green is my favorite color, but both Seattle and Portland are heavily Green in their jerseys. So they might not go that way but if they did I would be happy as a clam.
Forest green (a city among trees) and gold (olympian aspirations), with perhaps dark blue or maroon piping as needed for a third.
I was thinking the same with the green and gold. I picked white because it was neutral and goes with anything. I don't know if anyone else in MLS has a hoops top. I like that myself.
There is no team with a Red and Yellow combo. I was thinking something similar to AFC Lightning's colors for those of you that know the ATL youth soccer club. I always thought they looked cool when playing their teams as a kid. In addition I don't believe there is an MLS team that uses a strong royal blue color, like a Chelsea or Everton blue. San Jose is close but its not really a Chelsea/Everton blue. I think a blue and yellow combo could look good, like Boca Juniors or Brazil.
Not their home colors. And its hoops, not the same thing. And its much darker than a Chelsea/Everton bright royal blue.
yeah that works, city flag colors like philly does, or with red to go with the presumably red colored seats the falcons stadium has. kinda sucks that the trio of primary colors is already being used twice (RBNY,RSL) Maybe theres a way to make that work, go with a look like Club America:
