    I think You saw Khải Hoàn Ca. Seriously, it doesn't apply on this case. It means that "We went to somewhere, had war there, and won, then come back to home" :D

    Yes, Thailand was the more dominating side but Vietnam played tactically well and unlike Indonesia, their counter attacks were dangerous and most importantly, as I said before, you cannot win over Vietnam when Vietnam God is behind them. :D (Duong Hong son spectacular saves in the first leg and Le Cong Vinh's late goal in the second leg).

    Thanks for the explanation. One more question. :D I saw some supporters carried the pictures of Ho Chi Minh in the stadium. In my opinion, during the Vietnam War, South Vietnamese must have hated Ho Chi Minh because he was the leader of North Vietnam. Do after the unification almost all Vietnamese regard him as the hero? Or even during the Vietnam War actually South Vietnamese (except the military generals) liked him too?

    There are many reasons:
    1. The game happened in Hanoi, North of Vietnam.
    2. We are all brainwashed. Everyone should love communist, or else go to hell. :D
    3. Most of people who hate communist are gone, or went to other countries.
    4. We are all forgetting about the pass. We were taught that USA want to colonize Vietnam, we kicked them out of the country. We were taught that Ho Chi Minh saved the country, communist party saved the country.
    5. If you are not brainwashed, you are supposed to be brainwashed :D or else PLEASE GO TO HELL. :eek:

    Communism has power to do everything!

    Khai Huan Ca means

    Khai = Khải = Winner
    Huan = Hoàn = Come back home
    Ca = Song

    I see. If so, it seems current Vietnam is like China in the past under Mao Zedong.

    Why didn't I see Le Cong Vinh on the podium when Vietnamese coach and players receiving medals and taking celebration photos?

    Just simply a victory song...the winner song or sthg else...The song which is sung by the winner. And we are the winner now. All hail Vietnam...

    The real hero is Henrique Calisto. He lead the team through many many pressure, make lots of tactical change that turn the tide of the game. To tell the truth, this year VNese team is not the best team ever, but with Calisto's talent, we won the tournament . Superb performance...

    lol, when you translate Vietnamese to English, please don't translate word to word. What the hell does "Thailand is history now" mean?

    You mean it isn't a song but a reality? But what does "ca" really mean?

    We should pay him $2m/yr like Thai does :D
    One fact: All VN players (except for 2 extra goalkeeper) have chance to play and they all did well

    Well, he is the actor behind the Vietnamese success. But among the players, who is the hero in this tournament?
