My stream was rock solid all 2nd half, then at 91' as Ozil was crossing to Giroud(?) it died. Feel free someone to share what happens in added time.
Apparently we made it to FT, preserving our one-goal lead. Coulda been a bit more forceful I suppose but you can't really complain too much. Another 3pts. Onward! p.s. And we keep this matchday thread post-count nice and low. I.e. keeping the negative ninnies at bay.
few rocky moments there, Emirates crowd are very antsy when the game is close though, my word...3 pts in the bag. Hope Kola is ok
Why would that be ‘interesting’ to you? If they’re good, you’ll say ‘he wasn’t in the game, so clearly the stats can’t tell you everything.’ If they’re bad, you’ll use them to support the idea that he couldn’t ‘get into the act.’ He was good and the stats were, too, ftr.
Chill dude. I was honestly curious to see what his stats were compared to last week when he had a large number of chances created and key passes? And also his stats from today as compared to those other 3 players I mentioned, in this same game today. My perception was that he was wasn't contributing as much, with either of those two kinds of comparison. And I wondered if the stats supported that perception. And I guess I was subconsciously hoping for a quality reply from @The Jitty Slitter. But instead I got yours.
We've been in a poor spell recently but I think you have to give credit to the players' character for this one. This one felt different than Everton for me. I always thought we were going to beat Everton, even from a goal down. I thought we were going to win today as well, but that was before the game. At halftime I didn't see us getting anything. We had a lot of the ball, but not very much pressure let alone chances. So hooray for us, at least for one fixture.
I wasn't able to watch the game, so I can't comment on your perception. His stats weren't as good as against Everton, but his Everton game set a high standard. Ozil still had the assist on Kola's goal, and he led the team with 5 key passes. He also completed more passes and had a better passing percentage than Sanchez and Ramsey and he had as many tackles as anyone on the team except Ramsey,
I saw Sanchez's heatmap. Shambolic! Unless he was instructed by Wenger to not run hard or run at all, it is difficult to rate that performance. I can't see us forcing anything this coming weekend against City if we play like this.
Heard it on the Arsenal vision podcast by their stars guy. Ramsey and Xhaka actually swapped places the second half.
The Arsenal MOTM poll had Kolasinac winning by a landslide. 92%! https://www.arsenal.com/news/who-was-our-best-player-against-swansea
