2 shot attempts, 1 on target, and 44% possession through the first half hour.

    Riveting.

I just caught up to live via fast-forward.

THe main thing I noticed were too many good chances by them, too many heart-attack moments near our goal.

Haven't focused on our formation but NBC listed it as a 4-2-3-1. Is it?

They get their 5th shot on target, and guess what it's a goal.

What is with our midfield being so f-ing porous?!!

Edit: well deserved goal I might add. They've basically dominated us. Jeesh.

Sokratis and Luiz are both circus clowns.

    Start Mavropanos at this point.

Xhaka is a pillar of salt, Torreira can't cover the space of 2 players, and Ozil doesn't defend well enough.

Plus, you can tell that no one has any faith in the assholes behind them, so they're frantic and make a ton of mistakes.

Man we are so atrocious, we are on the back foot against every single team we play. The amount of possession other teams have against us in our own half is just...its insane. Everything about this team man

Mavropanos... I completely forgot about him! Until I saw him in this week's training video. Has he even been making the bench lately??

Our defenders don't attack their opponent's loose touches or 50/50 balls. We just back off, back off. Ugh.

Why in the world was Luiz literally 8 yards behind Sokratis on that Brighton attack?

The defensive structure of this team is appalling.

The Emery poison is deep. We need to be cutthroat with these players now at practice. Can't have these passengers on the field..

I sure hope they get lit up by the coaching staff at HT

Auba's frustrations starting to show. He's livid with Willock for being out of sync with him and not playing the correct through ball.

If we don't make improvements or bring in proper players in January we may have to figure out how to play without Auba.

First-half positives: I haven't yet filled my pockets with rocks and walked into Lake Michigan.

First-half negatives: Just about everything else.

I had us getting 7 points from this game, southampton and norwich on route to a sub-60 point season. I think we might struggle to crack 50 points.

Its amazing how fast lack of investment and proper management can bring down a club of this stature....

Freddy is really tested my patience with him..this lineup was ridiculous. Pepe should be starting, Tierney is he injured? Our defensive frailties continue no surprise but both fullbacks and Xhaka and Torrieria are staying home. This is a poor set up especially at home. Brighton are taking it to us. The home fans booing are completely approved imo.

And/or change the strategy to balance better attack vs defense. And play like you're 0-1 down in a cup final!

Meanwhile Pepe comes on for Willock. Hurrah!!!
