Arsenal v. Everton. Nothing less than three points will suffice. Wenger versus Koeman, whom Wenger has apparently never beaten. Lukaku versus Holding, which is scary. Alexis Sanchez versus teamwork, where enough has been said. Referees versus fairness and common sense.

    Location: Emirates Stadium
    Time: 1500 GMT/1000 ET/ 900 CT/700 PT

I'm going to be on the road for this one, so hopefully can follow along in the car.

Let's not have any embarrassing "it's 1-1 at Anfield!" moment. Assume it's 3-0 to Liverpool from the opening whistle, and don't worry about what's going on at Anfield until our game is done (and it's likely Liverpool are going to destroy Boro anyway).

Here's scenario: we draw 1-1 and Liverpool lose 0-2. Then we both go off to Wembley for a playoff for 4th place. That would be pretty exciting! And unprecedented?

.....and OUR match is on Big NBC (your local NBC station!) and for me here near Seattle it's on KING 5 right after King 5 Morning News.

(NOTE: Premier League LIVE is only on NBCSN and then afterwards you flip over to Big NBC for our match)

NBCSN will be broadcasting the Liverpool-Middlesbrough match simultaneously so I will be watching our match on the Insignia 40-inch, while I check on the 'Pool-Boro tilt on my tablet and I'll post my thoughts and comments right here, but on my Motorola Droid Mini, so my goddamn Wi-Fi better not let me down tomorrow, but a lot of battery power will be used between both my tablet and also my Droid Mini. COYF'n'G!!! ......and Go Boro!!!

I really hope they won't just "bag it" at Anfield just because they've already been relegated, I hope they'll come out and play spoiler and with some added spunk like Newcastle United did last year against Tottenham, when the Geordies slaughtered them 5-1 despite having been relegated.

    Good thoughts @BIGHMW.

    In other news...

Wow, it's 12hrs before our last game of the season, with us being the only club with anything significant to gain tomorrow, and yet 5 posts on this thread? I'm sure a few more will show up tomorrow morning, especially if results are going our way, but the BigSoccer attrition seems to be picking up steam.

But, fvck that! I'm a lifer. I suspect I'll be turning out the lights in this forum some day.

And in the meantime, up the Boro, and COYG!!!!

Hey, I know this isn't Arsenal or Premier League-related, and a bit off-subject, but what do you guys (especially you in the Chicagoland area) think of Bastian Schweinsteiger playing here in America (for Chicago Fire FC) and in the MLS, Novelty act (like Steven Gerrard or "Fat Frank" Lampard), or the real deal (like David Beckham or Didier Drogba)??? And if the real deal, will he make the most impact (no not Montreal Impact) for both the Fire and for the league, or will this one wind up just like his short stint with Manchester United???

But I will say this, Schweini's English is quite damn good, and getting better every day, and so is his pitching, as this footage from Wrigley Field will show you. For a German he seems to know more about baseball than most of us here would think!!! :)

I sure hope Boro don't bag it or half-ass it, at least show some spunk out there boys!!!

....,and no Shkodran Mustafi on the bench, as another option on the backline, but, we do have Ollie on the bench though if needed.

I'm streaming off NBCSports.com just fine. It might be your WiFi or you Internet Provider that's causing you grief?

Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Red card all the way after looking at the replay, otherwise I was thinking a yellow because of the seriousness of the infraction, foot up. Full speed, Gone. See ya. Big time trouble

Looked like it would've been a very soft call if they'd awarded a PK.

Ramsey gets in great positions but the direction with his touch is so wrong. It's like he's under direction to slow play down. He never pushes the counter.

Somehow, with 10 men we go 2-0 up. Thanks to the coolness of Webleck and the Johnny-on-the-spot-as-always Sanchez.
