    Greetings all and Happy Thanksgiving,

For those in the US who celebrate Thanksgiving, I suggest you not watch this game and instead spend that time with family. If you must watch this game, here are the relevant details:

    Time: 2000GMT/1500 EST
    TV: BR Live

Go nuts, and hopefully we can be thankful for having a vacancy at the manager level after the game.

I've read rumblings of that for a few days now.

    Yeah I kinda think so.

Watch our boys come up with some confounding 5-1 result just to muddy the waters a bit

Ps. My DVR guide says that it'll be Broadcast in Spanish on TUDN.

Emery said today that his future is "today and tomorrow" and I'm definitely choosing to take that literally

Chambers as a wingback in a back 5.

    Emery's trying to get fired.

Huh going to miss this match anyway. I've gone from going to every Home Europa League game to not even watching in a year.

Not watching, but arsenal.com says, "There was lots of talk about how we'd line-up tonight - and it looks like David Luiz is starting at the base of midfield alongside Granit Xhaka, with Joe Willock operating as our most advanced midfielder".

Just turned on the match and Gabby missed an easy sitter. A very defensive lineup a back 5 essentially. Why is Aubameyang starting? Would rather have him fresh at Norwich. Alot of empty seats today. Xhaka starting with Willock in the MF two I see. . Hopefully he can play well.

Just tuned in at 15' and first thing I saw was Martinelli's point Blank miss and the second thing I noticed was gobs of empty seats at The clock end.

Will check back later since I'm at the inlaws. :)

So xhaka going down to injury is not such a big loss. Luiz A bit more so. What was the nature of his injury?

    Meanwhile… 1-0... Auba. :)

Xhaka should've scored there. Good goal by Auba I guess that's why he started lol. The Emirates is straight empty , fan apathy and disgust I suppose and rightly so. The match has been a snoozefest prehaps a nap is in order before I head off to dinner.

Just noticed Xhaka is still playing. Hmm.

Meanwhile 1-1. It was only a matter of time.

I stopped and reviewed their goal what a defensive blunder. Number 15 for Frankfurt was unmarked in the box, his back turned gets an unchallenged pass from a teammate in between 4 Arsenal "defenders" . Guendouzi misses the interception. No 15 turns and there are 4 Arsenal players in the box caught flat footed and literally ball watching and stuck to the ground while he fires the ball into the goal. Cue a reaction shot from Emery looking shell shocked.

At a certain point these players need to be held to account for the lack of effort regardless of how poor the manager is.

Edit: and after writing all that Frankurt scores again number 15 again unmarked completely at the top of the box on a corner. Cue a shot of reaction from Emery knowing he is now totally screwed.

Literally all the fans and all the players have checked out. It's actually pretty mild in London decent night for a match.

Final from the Emirates 1-2. A loud round of boos from the 8-10k there.

    Not The Result we wanted!

    Ugh.

You could see the game turning at the start of the second half. Frankfurt adjusted at half time, Arsenal didn't. Defensively, Arsenal was very good in the first half, allowing just one off target shot, not so much in the second half.
