Re: Argentinos in Francia He returned to Argentina in October although still being on contract until June 2008. I read he got depressed and returned back to be with his family. Maybe he will even stop football. Shade. Many French of more likely Argentinian clubs would appreciate him.

Re: Argentinos in Francia Lucas Mareque is close to join FC Lorient apparently. He's a left defender.
Re: Argentinos in Francia Gabriel Peñalba (DM, Argentinos) did. Lorient is a VERY difficult team for non-French speakers. Coach Christian Gourcuff uses a special tactic (for me his team plays the best football in France). It's not very complicated, but every player must know exactly what he has precisely to do. It takes time. And it's difficult for a player who does not speak French, and comes from another country that plays another football. Very few foreigners did that at Lorient. Gourcuff hires them because he has no choice, the budget of the club is the 3rd tiniest of the league.
Re: Argentinos in Francia Is it? Because in theory there was going to be a "juicy" offer for him, but he won't be leaving anyway. Good luck to Peñalba he has some quality.
Re: Argentinos in Francia Thanks First reaction from the fans: "We've been swindled, he can't be Argentinian, he doesn't have long hair. We want a refund !" According with French news, Mareque's coming is imminent.
