Bad news, Messi injured although he's still able to finish the game. Hopefully just a knock and nothing serious. He scored twice to levelled the game 2-2.

Don't worry, 150 ME purchase Coutinho will save the day!

Report: Dybala storms to the dressing room after being snubbed by Allegri

I get excited hearing news like this. One step closer to leaving. Even though it is upsetting that he wasted an entire year and was a bystander.

According to various sources, it's not serious and they're not gonna do any tests on him on both sunday and monday.

You cant possilly score 20 goals if your only trick is to push the ball the right and shoot to far corner over and over. Then again , David Luis worth $1 billion.

Good , Dybala should have done that since 2 years ago. He's still young enough to be a key player in any other top team but not team like Juve that clearly chasing for short term goal (CR) .Juve has started to drop points in recent weeks.

And now he just scored his tenth premier league hat trick. Last goal came off his arm. The elbow of God?

Things change quickly in soccer, but right now both Icardi and Dybala enduring a miserable time.

The (second) biggest mistake was not starting Aguero at the WC, since the start of last year he's been on absolute untouchable form. The biggest mistake though was not just taking a journeyman player like E Perez to the tournament but actually starting him.

Aguero only started in first game because he showed his anger toward Sampa infront of media.

He scored against Iceland & won penalty which Messi failed to convert. Technically there's no reason not to start him in second game. But at least we got to see Higuain pulling his trademark miss against Nigeria.

Rojo fouled Mbappe was too stupid just like his clumsy attempt which got him a sent off in 2015 final. Mbappe was still like 45 yards from goal but he decided to keep shoving him all the way to the box. The early penalty proof to be the only difference at the end.

In Icardi's case though, Inter has always been inconsistent team for many years. As for Dybala, we all know the reason. Allegri will make sure Dybala to play in midfield or defence and not to take FK cause there's someone who can scores from it oncd in 70 attempts.

Guys guys guys. The Pats won the SB. That’s all that matters.
    :D

Okay. We need our forwards to find another gear. Unfortunately, some are stuck with terrible managers.

But hey, there will be another Copa America next year!!!

The youth lads won 3-0. We now have the best goal difference on the table, with +3 goals. Gaich hit the hattrick in the game.

Brazil currently at bottom with the worst goal difference. Even winning their next match will not guarentee at 4th place.

A bit of a shame he went to a league where half the players work as cab drivers. But better than Russia.

The U-20 boys beat Uruguay today and officially qualified to the WC. After starting the tournament poorly (1-1 vs. Paraguay, 0-1 vs. Ecuador), they now have the opportunity to be crowned champions of South America on Sunday vs. Brazil.

The cherry on top is that Sunday's match can also give us the opportunity of blocking the Brazilians from qualifying to the WC.

I guess this isn't one of the shittest generations after all, eh?

But as for the brazucas, they'll need something's to go their way for them to qualify. Regardless, we should go out there and win this thing.

I wish our finishing was better, could've won going away.

In more serious news, Sala's body was recovered within the aircraft. He was identified.

    RIP.

If the 2016 team won it with shitty manager , obviously this team could go all the way.

The players might not be as talented as those previous generations but they looked determinted to win it till last minute.

Definitely not. It's certainly not a 1997-2002 class, but Maroni and Julian Alvarez are very promising players, and then there's the likes of Thiago Almada, Maxi Romero, Colidio, Santi Sosa, Balerdi, De La Vega, etc.

I'm not at all familiar with Anibal Moreno, but the goal he scored today was absolute class

It's definitely not a bad team, and maybe a few others (Ferreira, Almendra, Barco) can be added to boost the squad for the WC in May.

How's Lo Celso's younger brother Francesco, by the way? Any good?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to watch these games. They don't even air them here anymore and streams are reverting back to the days of the mid-2000s, which are dodgy at best. Some years back, Telemundo or FOX Deportes would air the SA Sub 20's on TV but we don't even get that anymore. Not to mention, now the libertadores has gone to crappy ass BeIN TV.

So, I can't really discuss Lo Celso's brother but I see comments that he isn't at his brother's level.

Fingers crossed that they continue to progress.

P.S.There are rumors that Real have interest in De La Vega(Who just turned 18).

Lo Celso jr has only played against Ecuador in the group stage so far, he didn't play a good game but I can't say if he's good or not just based on that.

As for the future, I think the top 5 players of this team that will make it big are:

    1) Nehuen Perez (central de la concha de la lora)
    2) De la Vega (crack, ayer no tuvo un gran dia pero siempre entiende todo de por donde va el ataque, muy inteligente)
    3) Moreno (el box-to-box que tanto le falta a la mayor, todavía ni debutó en primera igual pero pinta muy bien)
    4) Julian Alvarez (River tiene ya un mini Borre para cuando se vaya)
    5) Roffo (muy buen arquero, lastima que a Boca no le importan sus inferiores)

Many people talk about Gaich and Maroni too but, while I think they will have good careers, I don't think they will make it "big" (like senior national team level and playing in big european clubs). Gaich is a beast buts lacks enough technique. Maroni is very skilled but seems like it's the typical "habilidoso lagunero".

BTW, just imagine this team with Balerdi, Almendra and Barco at the world cup.

It's great to see the U20 team bounce back from a rough start. Normally you would expect our team to meltdown in such a situation, but they dug deep and found a way.
