It would be Argentina's turn in the "rotation"

    1987 - Argentina
    1989 - Brasil
    1991 - Chile
    1993 - Ecuador
    1995 - Uruguay
    1997 - Bolivia
    1999 - Paraguay
    2001 - Colombia
    2004 - Peru
    2007 - Venezuela
2009 - we start all over again.

Yeah, apparently it's been agreed that it will be in Mexico.

I wonder where Leoz lives? Maybe some Paraguayan friends can help me out here? I just want to see all the crap he buys with all the money he gets from the charritos.

It should definitely be in the USA...itd be a great success because if you think about it everyone in south america has migrated to the US...and with the world class stadiums here and the population of all south america here, why not here in the USA!!!

That's one and a few others. A total of no more than 5 stadiums maybe? Very few SSS (soccer specific stadiums) here in the states.

Plus like Efer says, long ass travelling.

Surely the US will play in their own backyard.

There's no way the US is going to Venezuela though. Hmm...I wonder why... :D

This is about making money and then it will be held in the USA!!!!

The stadiums will be sold out here in the USA not in Mexico.

just let mexico host it, dont piss off the latinos even more that US/mexico r in their competitions. americans should just call on the US national team to play in the copa america. i hear it might expand to 16 teams, maybe then we can just call off the gold cup, let the gold cup caribbean/central american qualifiers just work towards the copa america (just less spots).
