Being this shit he has no future. He's 23 and if he's not good enough now he'll never be. Sell him asap.

I agree. If he was under 21 I would be patient, but he's turning 24 soon so he's basically in his prime. lol
That said, if we can't get anything for him (which wouldn't be surprising) I'd rather just keep him. Maybe with a new manager and better tactics Gomes will play a bit better.

Well if a coach can get Shitmes to be Andre ********ing Gomes then he as sure as hell can get Denis, Arda and Rafinha to be the next MSN. I'd only sell Arda. Denis and Rafinha are decent depth.

Well maybe, but those other three players had less pressure on them and more time learning the Barca system. Plus hoofing the ball forward to MSN and hoping for the best is not a style suited to Gomes. I think Mezut Ozil would've looked just as useless if he was at Barca this season.

Maybe because Barca is looking to buy an AM hence all the mentioned names are AMs.

We are linked with Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.

So apparently, the club have told Masip to search for another club.

I would love for Deulefeu, Samper and Ortolà to come back and bring Coutinho, Veratti and Aurier in.
    Out: Mathieu, Masip, Arda

Next season the squad could look like the following.

    MATS
    Aurier, Pique, Umtiti, Alba
    Busquets
    Rakitic, Veratti
    MSN

    Deulefeu, Paco, Coutinho
    Sergi Roberto, Iniesta
    Samper
    Digne, Marlon, Mascherano, Vidal
    Cillessen

Ortolà, Gomes, Denis, Rafinha and another CB.

    Thoughts?

Valverde will probably stick to his usual formation 4-2-3-1

This is not necessarily a double pivot in the midfield, more like Brazil82 with one DM (Busquets) and another deep-lying midfielder like Verratti.

Now buying Verratti (if he is for sale) and Coutinho will be way over our budget

This is a more realistic lineup

    --------------------------------Saurez(Paco)-----------------

    --------Neymar (Dembele)-------Messi(Iniesta)--------Messi (Deulefeu)

    ---------------Busquets(Samper)------------Verratti (S.Roberto/Alena)

    Alba (Digne)---Umtiti (Marlon)----Pique (Davinson)---Bellerin (Vidal)

    --------------------------------MATS (Cillessen)-------

Valverde will play a 4 3 3,not any other formation.

The 4231 won't suit busquets,we need veratti or Bernardo silva.we need a replacement for Iniesta,Dembele is a long term replacement for the forward line.

I also don't think Denis Suarez will leave,he will stay as a back up for Iniesta and Neymar.

Sergi Roberto will move into midfield and he can play all three positions.

This will give a great breather to Rakitic also.

My signings will be Bernardo Silva, bellerin,Davidson sanchez.these three will be the main signings.

Valverde will play the formation he believes in, why would he change that? Besides, why 4-2-3-1 won't suit Busquets knowing that it won't be double pivot?

Bernand Silva is off to United, he is also poor defensively and won't suit what we need. Barcelona should make Verratti #1 priority.

Bernardo Silva won't go to cold rainy Manchester just because Jose and Jorge are Portuguese,if Barca believe he is the one to replace Iniesta then he will come here.he will cost a lot and that's an issue,if manutd get him we should sign Ander Herrera who will like to come here then.

This all depends if MU will qualify for UCL place tonight. If they do then they will spend big and attract players.

Agreed but it is not so obvious.any Iberian guy or south American would like nice weather Barcelona with paella, tapas and chilled out chicks to hang around with,no wonder Arda and even Mathieu don't want to leave.

And Valverde will play a 4 33 because he was a Cruyff player once and his other teams had different players.athletic for example had fast wingers,a no 9 in adruiz but Barca had Messi who can't do a 4 2 3 1.he can't be stuck on the wing and neither can he play as a pure 10 he is a wildcard who does whatever he wants which is what makes bellerin all the more important and also Sergi Roberto on the right.how I wish we even had Aleix Vidal,we would have beaten depor or Malaga for sure with Sergi Roberto in midfield.

Several Spanish and English news outlets are today reporting that Valverde has put Ander Herrera at the top of his transfer list for FCB.

Since most other players the club has been linked with are either impossible or way too high financially, this actually makes sense given Valverde trained him. If there is an alternative to not signing Verratti in terms of style, this might be the only good one.

He'll cost as much as Veratti and its a waste. Why does Barca alway have the inferior position in these situations?

Also problem is Barca scouts are by far the worst among top clubs.

Ander is turning 28 in August. Nowhere near Verratti price point. His market value is 30m euro tops. With the two or three big signings United are set to make this summer, they could do with a negotiation or two.

Style wise, Ander fits like a glove and has 3-4 top years left for his position.

Ander Herrera is a real fine player who can play all 3 positions in midfield,he will cost around 30-40 million euroes and will be a quality addition to our midfield.

But if mourinho really wants him,he will get a great contract and continue at ManUtd.

Veratti will cost 80 million,PSG are loaded Qataris and they are hell bent on not selling as they see themselves as competitiors of Real Madrid & Barcelona.

Moreover Florentino Perez will also jump into the process and put up a big bid and later sell Modric to Bayern and replace him with Veratti.Instead we should buy Herrera who is underrated and top class,he can combine very well with Sergi Roberto and Busquets and Rakitic and make a great midfield,All we have to do is sell Rafinha & Arda and we can comfortably fund this deal, but he is quite settled at Manutd and the project is looking up.
