It is funny, I ref'ed the ADASL for 5 years and I doubt that baptism of fire could prepare me for moderating these boards.

Well, there you go, not perfect with my word choice. You win.

(ffs, can't somebody just be curious or must there ALWAYS be a nefarious motive of some sort?)

I have been pointing out for 10+ years how posters that aren't adding to the group-think have their posts read with a level of bias and you, and the two others that posted the same, solidified my opinion.

With what I pay for health insurance, I could buy a new iPhone every month.

Thanks for your usual content-free trolling.

Of course Timon is questioned, as I would be if I affixed an American flag to my posts. To wonder why I would do such a thing would not be the act of a naive person who is trying to put me in a box. On the contrary. It would indicate that the person is politically aware.

No state bans gays from serving in the military.

How noble of you to offer the option for a gay man to marry a woman or a lesbian to marry a man! In return, I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you which states it would be legal for you to marry another man.

Like the guy who was running for NY governor from "The Rent Is Too Damn High" party, when asked about gay marriage, he said something like "You can marry a shoe for all I care!" But what if a skate wants to marry a sandal? What would the children look like, huh?

Lots of states ban gay marriage. Those laws and amendments were declared unconstitutional, but those laws and amendments still exist...and will only remain unconstitutional if SCOTUS continues to adhere to precedent.

Careful with a post like this.
    You get it? Post.
The Republicans will start claiming that the Democrats are in favor of post office abortions on demand.

They are, but only up to 12 months after birth.

Though it's not quite "on demand." You have to mail something, or at least by stamps.

Can I use that new post office banking to get an abortion loan?

Given the USPS's reputation for "on time delivery" this might not be a good role for the post office.
