Wouldn't the #metoo movement say believe the victims? At least not bash the victims to defend your husband. Easier said than done for sure.
"In January, Clinton issued a statement on the allegations against Strider in which she said she would have made a different decision if confronted with the situation today. However, she wrote, “I didn’t think firing him was the best solution to the problem. He needed to be punished, change his behavior, and understand why his actions were wrong. The young woman needed to be able to thrive and feel safe. I thought both could happen without him losing his job.”" Maybe she's bullshitting, maybe you just disagree with her reasoning, but she at least acknowledged she may have made a mistake. And I haven't seen any credible evidence that Bill was a "serial abuser" later in his life, and while the Lewinsky affair was gross and an abuse of his power, it was at least partially consensual, and the article actually discusses the complexity of that issue. Regardless, even if enabling Bill makes Hillary a "horrible person," it pales in comparison to the horrible person she was running against who's been accused of multiple acts himself (and bragged about his ability to do so). And since realistically it was a binary choice we were dealing with, if that was your primary consideration the lesser of those two evils was obvious.
That's that's a fair post. I think the problem with stanger is more of an obsession and conclusions he comes to is from his inventive mind rather than facts. Not quite the guy going into a certain pizza place with an assault rifle. But.
Considering the multiple accusations against her husband, yes, I saw that as bullshit. Jeffrey Epstein. I didn't vote for either Trump or Clinton. And you shouldn't have, either.
Oh I didn't, I voted for Mary Poppins, figured she'd have just as much of a chance as any of the third party candidates. And she sure as hell never sexually abused anybody.
That's the thing I failed to address in my previous post. And, as long as Trump remains in power and Republicans continue support him, they can have no credibility when it comes to the #metoo movement and their response to it. So, I suppose if the #metoo movement does favor the Democrats, it is not because they are doing anything significant, but because the Republicans are purposely ignoring the elephant - ha! pun intended - in the room.
Yes because a guy who probably thinks Syria is some late night dish for his munchies and a candidate who thinks wifi signals cause harm were so much better options.
I don't have to defend my vote to anyone, but being a state Governor seems to be as qualifying as anything else. But thanks for adding nothing but more stupidity to the conversation.
Nah I think they'd know I was ********ing around, considering in the post above I said it was realistically a binary choice. Though I do think President Poppins would kick ass.
Specially when it fit like a glove. I always say that people like you are as much a threat to people like me than the El Douche cult members.
A state governor who couldn't name a foreign leader and was incredibly unprepared. And is probably in a haze of weed in the Sandias somewhere. You have a tendency to make posts claiming no one wants to discuss issues. And when your posts are taken to task, you play victim. Or resort to insults.
Your post didn't take anything to task, it was an attempt at stupid humor. Gary Johnson certainly would have been a better president than we have now, I can't believe you didn't vote for him.
White people who decided to vote third parties, since they could not decide who was the "lesser of two evils".
So you think everyone that voted third party is more of a threat to you than actual Trump supporters? Am I reading that right?
Only one framing is allowed for any issue. I remember when binary framing and thinking was ridiculed.
