    Just curious.

Got an email that said the 9/10 game moved from 7:30 to 8:00PM. New Acela train or something?

I don't know but it's music to my ears as my sons college game vs Mt. Ida in Newton doesn't conclude util 6:30

UMass vs BC Football is at noon on that same day. Crowd will likely be in the 20-30K range for that game (and actually, likely a similar crowd for the Revs too since it's NYCFC). Gives them an extra half hour to clear the parking lots once football ends around 3-3:30.

We have to watch this game with pointy lines? Another insult to this suffering fan base

Let's look at the positive: It's an insult to Lampard and Pirlo....;)

This is indeed the reason. We're relegated behind two teams that have their own f'in stadiums.

It will be good to see how the revs stack up attendance-wise vs a UMass-BC college football game. I've seen that game advertised on tv and elsewhere far more than the revs.

They played each other at Gillette in 2014 in each team's season opener - crowd was right at 30K. I think with this being the second time this game has happened and with BC coming off a much worse year than they did heading into the 2014 game (UMass, like this year, was coming off a bad season in 2014), I'm guessing the crowd will probably be smaller than it was in 2014.

Yes, but it was much funnier going up to fans of the two teams in 2014 and saying "Well, you came for that, may as well stick around and watch a team that knows how to win."

Yeah... That line will only drive away anyone neutral enough to give it a try once they actually see the game.

They added the 30 minutes to scrub the lines ... :whistling:

Non-sequitur, but I was listening to the Red Sox game on the car radio last night, and they were bemoaning the fact that there were football lines on the field in Oakland!

At least the A's won't have to deal with that when the Raiders move to Vegas...
