I would love for an UNCAF Team , Panama or Costa Rica or Both to host
the Gold Cup 2011 . I use to think poorly of Jack Warner until he gave
Martinique the hosting rights for the Digicel Caribbean Cup ,then I realized
he's not too too bad . Come on its not fair , am from the caribbean and I
would love for the smaller nations of Concacaf like Panama , or Costa Rica
get a chance . Those 2 Countries could provide 2 or 3 Stadiums , thats
all we need . Come on Chuck Blazer , give the smaller countries a chance .

That would be cool, but the $ earned in the US will likely keep it here. At least I may able to catch a doubleheader. Canada is the only other one with a realistic shot, IMHO.

I think mexico should get it.
USA will have no chance to even reach the final down there.
Concacaf is just trying to make USA as strong as possible by giving them the Gold Cup.

Yes, Jack Warner cares about the strength of the US squad:rolleyes:
The Gold Cup is in the US because of the $$ it generates. Same reason Mexico plays most of its friendlies in the US. $$.

The Gold Cup has to get out of USA, if we want it to be threated like a serious tournament by the rest of the world. USA is always host and Mexico, well, everyone knows they export tons of poor people to the US son they both can fill stadiums. But the rest of the teams are in a big disadvantage.

Serious question...has any Central American bid ever even been arranged/submitted in the last decade?

Well,I guess nobody saw that coming  ...

Jack Warner is a money-hungry,corrupted piece of sh*t that needs to be thrown in a shark infested pool...The guy is stealing money from a confederation that he's the president of and supposed to look out after...That's inexcusable!

I wish I knew, I would think that Mexico bid for a gold cup or 2, but perhaps they can not offer the trucks of $$$$ that SUM entertainment offers Jack.

Like I have always said, I feel lucky to see the Gold Cup in the USA once every two years. But now it's time to give the tournament to another country within CONCACAF. Canada deserves to host it, Jamaica, T&T. If any of the Central American countries want to host it, I'm all for it as well.

If people want to take this Confederation Seriously outside of qualifying for the World Cup, they have to allow the other countries to bid and host the tournament.

    Let's hope that happens.

The USSF talks about growing the game in the Carribbean with more club sides, but how about getting behind a Gold Cup bid for the region? Sell it to Jack as a homecoming for him, even give him the final in Port-au-Spain if need be. If the West Indies can host a Cricket World Cup, why not a Gold Cup?
