Not surprised. I view you and a_new_fan as similar posters. It isnt hard to see the irony in the initial post I responded to.
Yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of shit posting eurosnobs and Klinsman apologists. That's mostly why I don't post in USMNT N&A.
Yet you polute YA with crap. Sciaretta has become quite political and panders to MLS clowns. Any halfway intelligent individual would realize his request to not group all of MLS together would realize only a small number of teams have been successful with kids and even their track record is short.
So, in other words, you shouldn't group MLS together because some teams are better than others, and the league is making vast strides? Any halfway intelligent person would realize that he's not being political, he's telling it how it is without being a reckless personality on the internet. He's a Jersey guy, no sh*t he doesn't want the Red Bulls to be looped into the rest of MLS's development tendencies. Assuming everyone has an agenda is the bullcrap that makes the N&A forums and the pro/rel twitter the cesspools they are. Be better than that. No need to bite the hand that feeds you and insult the independent journalists around here.
ur point was that nyrb/fcb look the other way when players have issues and play them anyway they don't players deserving of spots they play players...that a poster on big soccer thinks should play?
you've become a clown urself because everyone knows ur position before you even post it. try being a free thinker its more fun then just be a follower. there is no conspiracy in us soccer there has never been any evidence or proof its people just bored and with a lot of time to waste.
Dion pereira has shown more dynamism in 20 min than Carleton has in his small chances. Not good for Andrew.
Here, let me just list Carleton's game time for Atlanta. It's truly sad. Andrew Carleton got 4 minutes May 20th, 2017. He got 1 minute, 12 minutes, and then 1 minute from mid-March to early April, 2018, almost a YEAR later. 11 minutes June 30th, 2018. 65 minutes in his first of 2 starts in 2018 at the end of July. 4 minutes in mid-September. 67 minutes, his longest start ever, October 21st, 2018. Three substitute appearances this March, of 16, 11, and 37 minutes. Now I don't know about you, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a player with 135 minutes, aka twice as many minutes as AC from 3 months ago, in the last 3 weeks, is going to look a little more in form.
Idk I don’t think he’s taking his career seriously enough to be considered a prospect anymore. Unless he changes his attitude stick a fork in the possibility he plays for the NT, it’s done.
Well, I'm just going to wait until Atlanta let him go. He was an excellent YNT player, so it's likely that there's some skill/potential there. But until we can see it at the MLS level, which requires more than the insanely paltry minutes he's gotten at Atlanta, the jury's still out. And FFS, he's EIGHTEEN. There's plenty of possibilities for his career. At 18, most players aren't playing any minutes in MLS whatsoever. Much less showing well for YNT's.
Lol. Andrew is so limited athletically, that he couldn’t have made the plays dion has tonight. But Andrew also didn’t do anything, dion has. Maybe a year long loan to like Phoenix rising would be beneficial!
No, stick a fork in his career, he's gotten 229 minutes in 2.5 years. How he doesn't have double-digit goals is beyond me.
He'd struggle to get on the field with the Rising. I just don't see AC fitting into that squad since they play a lightning fast counter attacking style of play. Lol you were probably joking, but I go to Rising matches and I couldn't let that shit slide.
Lol. I tried to pick a team far away from the troubles he has in his hometown. So, let’s say, Portland timbers 2.
Pereira had the 2nd highest whoscored rating in ATL's attack, 5/6 dribbles and 4 key passes. Kid was dynamic. And suddenly ATL is 2 pts off 1st in the east.
#ATLUTD's FdB said Carleton is improving in his professionalism, but he still needs to see more from him. Said he was in position to make 18s earlier this season, but Carleton wanted minutes so he played with #ATLUTD2 #MLS— Doug Roberson (@DougRobersonAJC) May 31, 2019
Huh? I hope this isn’t a serious post. He just had a teammate sold to the EPL for $27 million. If he gets it together, Atlanta is plenty of a showcase.
the mls deep state will keep him from getting a shot with atlanta and he can't wait for everyone else in front of him to leave. he needs a showcase this summer/fall although both times are great in georgia so he's probably got a lot of plans and clubs to hit up but he can squeeze in a match or two.
