So not valuable enough to use in a rotation by match up??? What will make you do it? Cause I assume Sammy B wouldn't do it 4 you.
Initially, I probably wouldn't. I'd start DeShaun even against JAX unless I see one of the reasons why I wanted some insurance, i.e. some rust from injury or an improbable sophomore slump. I normally wait on QB, but DeShaun was the only difference maker on the board when I took him IMO. Case was seriously undervalued and disrespected by the rankings. I wouldn't mind Sammy B but he is such a big injury risk that I can't really call him an insurance policy. But it doesn't mean I wouldn't trade Case if I saw a solid deal.
For your ESPN team, I'm not a huge fan of the backs. It does help that it's PPR. Devonta Freeman has been getting banged up lately and he was better under Kyle. Tevin is still going to siphon some touches from him, but you probably didn't have any options after being forced to take Antonio Brown in the first round. There also have been too many rumblings about Drake. I've heard that Gore will steal his goal line work and Ballage may figure into the mix at some point. Depending on what the board looked like when you took him, I'm not too keen on him. Lawson addressed my other concerns on the WRs. For the 16 team league, I don't think Zeke was a bad choice, especially in a non-PPR league. That's not to say he won't see a good volume of balls in the pass game, but the other 3 top backs will still see a lot more. I think Zeke can potentially put up the best fantasy RB numbers. Josh Gordon was a solid pick. I don't really care for ARob with the Bears. They are hyping up too many mouths to feed in the offense (Miller, Burton, Cohen, etc.), but I doubt Trubisky will be slinging it that much. I think I would have taken Fitz or Hilton instead. I think you reached a bit on your next 3 picks, but I do like them. I think Aaron Jones eventually wins the job after his suspension. Maybe not right away, but he's the best RB they have. As long as AP is healthy, I think he will get good numbers, just not the numbers he used to provide. Kelvin and Crabtree at the very least will be good red zone options. I don't see Buffalo running it with much success in the redzone with that o-line. Allen will probably eventually start and lob it up to KB. Everyone has been talking about the Ravens other wideouts, but Crabtree is the clear redzone option there, especially with Hurst injured. I like the ASJ pick. With Lee out, he is going to be one of the top options in JAX. I haven't heard many good things about Penny, but I can understand the gamble on a RB there. I like the Carr pick and think he will bounce back despite not liking what I have seen from Jon Gurden thus far. I just think you would have been better served to have taken another QB and play the matchup game. I won't get into the rest in too much detail, but overall a solid squad.
I won’t overreact to Week 1, but I knew Patricia was going to get exposed. I just didn’t think it’d be the first week against the Jets. The both of us knew Vrabel was a lame duck coach.
you and giff eased me into doubting patricia as the offseason went along. glad i listened . But like you said this is insanely shocking. had the jets to cover.

Seriously though, 3 catches, 60+ yards, and 2 TDs left on field last week through no fault of Odell's pic.twitter.com/XFXPHn7vNL— Mike Renner (@mikerenner_) September 12, 2018 Exactly my concern with the Giants -- oline and Eli. And not sold on their D either. Fournette was cooking before he got hurt and we know JAX isn't really a test to your passing D.
