More info on Murphy here (only was head coach for two games at Livingston): http://www.autrojans.com/article.asp?articleID=4510 And Terry Smith here (sounds like he was terrible): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Smith_(football)
Roy Ferenčina has been fired as the manager of Shkendija in Macedonia. His team had a record of 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses, but they were also knocked out of Europa League qualifiers against Zimbru. He is a Croatian-American and was born in the USA. He spent most of his playing career in Croatia, and has managed a few sides in Croatia as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Ferenčina http://macedonianfootball.com/index...a-fires-ferenina&catid=3:newsflash&Itemid=223
I take it his American nationality is only brought up when things go sour? Or is it not a hindrance at all?
Well, when he was hired, they said 'a US born Croatian coach'. http://macedonianfootball.com/index...s-over-shkendija&catid=3:newsflash&Itemid=223
Wikipedia says he managed Hrvatski Dragovoljac last season. They were in the 2nd HNL (Croatia) and finished 10th, but weren't relegated for some reason. He actually resigned before the end of the season (when they were in 8th). No idea what he's doing now.
Mike Keeney has been with Samorin (Slovak 3rd div) since December. http://www.stksamorin.sk/index.php/...keeney-mike-keeney-lett-az-stk-somorja-edzoje They have been promoted and will play in the 2nd div for the 2016/17 season.
Mike Keeney has moved on to the coaching staff with KuPS in Finland. http://www.kups.fi/fi/uutiset/mike-keeney-kupsn-valmennustiimiin
And let's not forget our man Bob Bradley being rumored for the Norway national team job...now that would be great.
Afshin Ghotbi is now coaching at Shijiazhuang Ever Bright F.C. Still young at 52 - let's bring him back to MLS! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afshin_Ghotbi
Joe Enochs is back coaching Osnabruck in German third bundesliga: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Enochs
David Wagner has Huddersfield Town pushing for promotion already. We may see an American coaching in the BPL again next season.
Swansea should've never hired Bob. BB should've never taken the job as it was. But he had to go. Swans with massive points today. I think BB would've had another shot is Swans went down. Now even if he takes LAFC or some MLS job, he will be here for life.
I would have liked if he stayed at Le Havre and seen if he could get them promoted. He was so damn close a year ago. 1 single goal made the difference. But for a guy like Bob, this was your 1 shot to the PL. He may never have gotten another chance. Or if he did, might have been 5-10 yrs (like if he made his French club a success in Ligue 1...5000/1 chance). Shame he got such vitrol about it.
One more decent season in France and he would've had a shot with a team offering a preseason and time to scout transfers.
