Thats why Hudson is hilarious. He is very passionate about the game, and the phrases he uses are rediculously funny. Anyways, any chance they take out a striker at half for Jozy, to give him rest for Wensedays clash for Manu???
They might take Franco out since he's been booked and he might not be 100%, someone is gonna get sent off the way this is going.
I really think Jozy can get his first La Liga goal if he comes in. Deportivo is looking sluggish, and the chances that the Villa striker have been getting are quality.
Highly entertaining 1st half of football. If Jozy does manage to get in this game, he's going to get at least 1 decent chance to score. The balls coming in from midfield to the final third are crazy good right now.
Hudson is great. There were times when I had Gol that i caught myself wondering what the hell he was going to say next and I didn't even pay attention to the action on the screenn. He has some classic one-liners. I can understand the Spanish if it was slowed down and a little clearer through the speakers. I'm so-so in understanding and speaking conversational Spanish but it is hard for me to catch everthing said in a telecast. That's why i love Spanish telecasts cause the emotion seems to be there whether it really is or not!
Villarreal are dominating this game -- imagine what they can do full-strength. Such an entertaining brand of soccer, too, that makes me forget about anything stateside. I'm not hearing Llorente's name at all. Has Depor had a shot?
Deportivo were well in this game the first 20 minutes, but Villarreal really started to assert some dominance after that.
Agreed. I actually looked Hudson up on Wiki today, they have a page full of his best quotes, there has to be at least 50 lmao quotes. I love this one, and this was when he worked for ESPN, not Gol Tv. Expounding upon whether U.S. goalkeeper Brad Friedel should be thanking his defenders for their works, he said, "I'll be kissing their bums in the showers."-Ray Hudson Anyways, I think there is a good chance of Jozy coming in. The strikers have been decent, but have missed a few chances, that should have been buried. And what happened between Senna and Franco? Senna yelled because of missed chances, correct?
Can the USA borrow and nationalize them? Say what you want about the ineptness of our strikers, they don't get balls like we've seen in the first half played to them. Ever.
