I'm pretty certain I saw Jozy on the bench for Villarreal and in uniform. but the stream quality isn't perfect so I'm not 100% certain. 6th minute, 0-0. Stream here. http://veetle.com/index.php/channel/view#4c5ae06584540
Ruben's shot saved by Besiktas's keeper. Ruben will be one of Jozy's competition for playing time if he stays at Villarreal.
They do, if the federation demands that they do so. Bob usually plays nicely in the sandbox with his players club managers.
Probably for the best considering the situations some of them are in. None the less, good for Jozy for making the bench, hope he gets some time to impress.
I am pretty happy to see him in uniform for VCF...my guess is that he will get to play today because I have to leave at half-time and won't have internet access...
By the way, as far as I can tell, this is Villarreal's lineup right now: Diego Lopez; Angel Lopez, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Marchena, Oriol; Senna, Bruno, Valero, Cazorla; David Fuster; Marco Ruben
so are we to expect jozy in the second half. I know no one knows for sure BUT he was rumoured to besitkas, and they suited him up today. It'd be weird if he didn't get in IMO. RIGHT? thanks for stream
also what can people tell me about Besitkas in a quick summery? they were in the CL last year correct? Best team in Turkey? Or is that fabernech??
fabernech = Fenerbahçe. Bursaspor won the league last season, but Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş usually dominate. And Trabzonspor, another club that was interested in Jozy, is also pretty good.
After their slew of very good signings this transfer window i'd consider Besiktas the favorites to win the Turkish league.
one of the turkish big three generally speaking. Between them, Fenerbache, and Galatasaray. Looking at this game, getting PT at Besiktas is gonna be no slouch, these guys got talent. It might actually be easier getting time at Villareal.
Yeah, with some of Besiktas' recent signings, they might be more talented than Villarreal. They've recently signed Guti from Real Madrid, Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan, and Roberto Hilbert from Stuttgart. This is on top of the following transfers from last year - Fabian Ernst from Schalke, Nihat Kahveci from Villarreal, Matteo Ferrari from Genoa, Michael Fink from Eintracht Frankfurt, etc. Plus they have a number of Turkish internationals and two young and solid Czech Republic center-backs.
are we sure that he is on the bench? i only saw one long distance shot, and the black guy at the end of the bench looked like jozy, but there's no way to be sure.
Not sure how serious it is but i've been reading reports about Sivok being pretty injured, thats a big blow for Besiktas.
Thanks guys, don't know how I forgot Galatasaray in there. They had a pretty good run of years in the CL when I was younger in the late 90's if I remember correctly.
Yeah. By my count there are only 3 black players listed on Villarreal's roster, Senna, Altidore and Jefferson Montero. http://www.villarrealcf.es/principa...Portada&idplantilla=1&idmenu=91&idsubmenu=116 Since we couldn't see the head that well I wasn't sure but started the thread anyways.
