And these are Nadeshiko Japan members for Algarve Cup :):

    http://www.jfa.jp/eng/nadeshikojapan/algarvecup_2017/member.html

I'd notice there are some names already from last U-20 WWC (Papua New Guinea, December 2016): GK Chika Hirao, DF Hikaru Kitagawa, MF Yui Hasegawa and FW Yuka Momiki (notably, not Golden Ball of the whole competition Hina Sugita).
Also, Mana Iwabuchi is back from injury, but Yuki Nagasato asked to concentrate on her club's duties at 1.FFC Frankfurt (it's not a retirement from NT, but a decision taken with coach Takakura for this tournament).

As usual a very young squad for Canada, but a 15 year old? Who's this super talent?

If the TV2 stream is paywalled, Icelandic TV is sending the Norway match tonight at http://www.ruv.is/ruv-2 (and also the Japan match later).

Dang, bad day for Asia at the Algarve... China and Japan go down to the Netherlands and Spain(!) respectively!

To be expected, players from both Asian teams are out of the league season for a while now, and most Euro based players started league month ago. Also Japan's just started introducing new youth players to the team, they are aiming at the far end of the year for december's EAFF Championship. I'd watch Australia though, they're on the roll and aiming high.

I found a nice free add-on extension for Chrome to watch these streams in the USA.
    It's called TouchVPN.
EDIT: I found another free add-on which might even be better --> HOLA VPN.

Sweden up 1-0 over Australia in the 64'

Unless they've changed in the last couple of years (from a quick google check it doesn't seem they have) you don't want to use Hola, they sell your bandwidth and it's a massive security hole: https://www.dailydot.com/debug/hola-vpn-security/

I didn't have any problems. I only connected to watch the match and promptly disconnected it.
Beggars can't be choosers. :) It's free, after all.
There are paid VPN services out there that work well (like ExpressVPN, for $13/month).

Blue Crimson, I once again demand the immediate registration of that horror of a coach, Staj! If this indeed the actually configuration, what on earth are Kerr & Devanna doing at mid? and KK as a lone CB? and only 3 defenders when you know it's been an Matildas weak point? Simply atrocious!

nice to see the Dutch do good again, you never know with them because Miedema keeps getting better & better. Good choice with Jill Roord finally getting the starting nod. looks like Beerensteyn stole the thunder over van den Sanden for Melis old spot on the right wing. The Dutch have one unique player in their own league named Lindsey Keizerwood. She stands under 5ft and slices right through defenders like a female Messi, Hopefully one day she can make the NT as well.
all I can think of is poor, poor blissett! I'll be happy to see a replay of this one......

That lineup is not correct, I think they played more like 4-3-3. Kellond was dropping down into the backline when the fullbacks pushed forward but was definitely in centre mid with van Egmond. Kerr was a constant threat as right winger and Foord on the other side.

Well, at least I wasn't there yet! :p Just arrived in Faro this evening: heading to Parchal tomorrow to watch Japan-Iceland. Here's hoping that our Japanese archipelago can beat a big single island, as glacial and volcanic as it is...

I'd be content with just a replay: I didn't see anything of that match yet. :x3:

Just watched most of this game, Australia is sort of an enigma in woso in that they produce a ton of top quality forwards, yet can't seem to do that for any of the other positions. Sam Kerr is arguably the most exciting player in the world, but she's usually blind as a bat! when she get's close to a goal. Looks like Sweden learned from Canada(vs Australia in the last Olympics) and held back as not to give the Matlidas fwds to much space to work with, and then counter attacked. Stunning goal by Schelin though as she scored from an really hard angle. Looks like the girl still got her mojo at age 33! Full replay below
