sobis' replacement and teams are already after him--and he doesnt even play for the first team. stupid. i hope the guy gets 2 seasons in him before being poached.
Where did Sobis go? Wow...Is it just me or I am getting the impression that Brasilian teams get raped of thier players like no other league, but then just as quickly find new talent within Brasil.
the most aggrevating thing is when people refer the Brasilian League as a feeding ground as if it has no history among the clubs
Sobis went to Real Betis. It is quite sad seeing some of our young talent leave before having a chance to play on the 1st team. I hardly saw Denilson, the volante that was signed by Arsenal, play. Flamengo's next revelation, Renato Augusto, is beginning to string together some games and I am afraid someone is going to try to sign him..
Alexandre pato is a 16 year old that people inside are saying is the best thing to come out of Rio Grande do Sul since Ronaldinho Gaucho....meaning...better than...Nilmar...Sobis...Daniel Carvalho...Lucio....Anderson....and many others...
well i wouldnt go that far. it's hard to say now, but i think Anderson is a lock for great things and he's only 18.
well a reporter from a Porto Alegre Station that covers the 2 Porto Alegre teams said that yesterday in an interview.
hmm. we'll see i guess. anderson was already a starter at like 16.5. then again, that was in the 2nd division, but whatever. i hope inter will keep him though for at least a season...and more importantly, get some money out of the transfer. it would suck if arsenal get him on a free transfer since he's still a youth player.
Inter was trying to keep him a secret until he turned 18...but the word got out so now he is gonna be called up since the word is out anyway...

i wouldnt say better. anderson was a starter for gremio at like 16.5. hard to compare him with Pato, who is yet to feature on the first team.
That is what I am saying, it seems Anderson has accomplished so much more and only like 1.5 years older...and this guy is claiming this Pato kid is an even bigger potential?
PATO UPDATE: - Will likely make Pro Debut this Sunday Against palmeiras. - Just signed a new contract yesterday (after a long Novela) - Allowing him to play at the Club World Cup in December - The team gave him #11 - Salary bumped from R$3000 to R$15000 a month. - New contract stipulates his price at $20 Million Euro's. Now its time to see if the hype was worth it. Everyone says he is phenomenal. Imagine him playing his first games as a pro at the Mundial...talk about pressure and when he speaks you can see he is very young and naive. But they say he can play.
an in two year he is gone away overseas. the brazilian soccer have no structure an our teams are 'feed-minded"
PATO Starts play for Inters 2nd goal.. Fernandao Inter 2 x 0 ...7 minutes in...against Palmeiras. PATO again off the post.....all in his first 20 minutes...
Inter 3x0!! Pato Taps it over the goalie...ball hits defender and goes in!!!!! PATO! Should I say I told you so???
