Can’t wait until this FO has an off-season to build something. You can see some pieces but they are all new.

 

Can’t help but wonder if the presumably small fee we got for Sauro was worth getting rid of him. Public statements to the contrary, this season was lost several weeks ago. Math doesn’t lie. So maybe keeping him didn’t really matter, if the intention was not to try and re-sign him this off season. But for a team with such ‘depth’ at centerback, we sure as hell have hard time finding players who don’t shit their pants when playing there.

 

While not sticking up for Williams, I’d just also add that Trapp and Artur certainly didn’t track back very well. Defending is done as a team, not individually. Yes, Williams should have stepped up, but the fact that we play with 2 DMs, and neither was anywhere near Osorio is troubling.
