Lions: King of Trash talk enjoyable read. "One young player from a Victorian club remembers the day Voss took an interest in his physique. "He said to me, 'What are you doing out here, you weigh 55 kilograms, you should be a jockey'," he said."
port lead by 6pts, only two minutes left..... the announcers on 3AW are making it sound like they and the 46000+ are in my room right now, wow, this is intense.....
Totally agree, What a great game of Aussie Rules last night in Adelaide in the semi final. It had all the best features of our sport. The scores were level for 7 minutes right up until the last stage. Tonights match should be just as good. I think this game will be close. Would not be surprised to see Geelong win. It all depends who wants it the most on the night. You can listen to this match live on the AFL Website for free.
didn't get a chance to listen to the Lions/cats game, it was already over when i woke . Lions out last Cats, history beckons Lions 12.12 (84) Cats 10.15 (75) 55,768 at the game, were there many Lions fans who made the trip? Foxsports story
I always thought our kicking would let us down. It has proven again (25 scores to 24 from the Lions). Go Port!
Last nights game at the MCG was another great display of A/R. However Both sides kicked poorly in front of goal from set shots, which really cost Geelong in the end - But its called pressure in the big time matches. There were a lot of physical clashes with players going down. Yes it is a contact sport that need lots of courage because of its 360 degree aspect. Brisbane who had quite a bit of crowd support, looked vulnerable to me at times, because Geelong won a lot of the stoppages/restarts -especially out of the centre at the bouncedowns. That would be a tactical tip not lost on the Port coach sitting in the crowd.
