Haven't heard much from the AFF and Otto.

Aren't Salem and Zubair forwards? The defence looks a bit suspect. It will be interesting to see who makes the team.

    my starting XI

    Azizi
    Amin S.Mukhamad Hatifie Nadjem
    Alikhil Noor
    M.Salem Shayesteh N.Amiri
    Sharza

    - I would replace Shayesteh at half time because he has not played much competitive match for his new club Paykan (1 app only) for Popalzay
    - Sharza to come off for Amani
    - N.Amiri or Salem to come off for Azodzoy as we both know what they are capable of but Azodzoy hasnt been in the national team for a while.

Excited to see Farshad Noor make his debut, would have been better if Milad Salem was available for selection too.

His team is in a relegation battle and they have a match on the 25th so they didn't release him.. He should be ready vs Vietnam.

I couldn't watch the game and can't find any proper highlights.

Can someone who watched provided a detailed analysis..

    How did Noor, sharza play?

I can give a quick summary, lol

Sharza was on the bench, and Otto didn't sub him at all. And as for Noor, he had fantastic ball control, strong tackles, he will be a great player in the middle of the field with the likes of Milad Salem and other strong strikers. He can push the ball up, but doesn't look like he attacks the net too often unfortunately, so we still could use a strong forward/scorer. As for others, the team was very collective and played well together... personally myself, I'm disappointed by Modjieb Jamali's performance, he isn't one of my favourites, he loses ball too much, makes avoidable mistakes (not only today, but in general). Also I respect Otto's decision for CB, Taher and Mukhammad played very well... much better than Sayed Mohammed Hashimi and his other CB partners. If we can get Milad Salem for the Vietnam game, it will help out greatly, other than that, I would love to see Sharza play, and Jamali stay on the bench, he needs to prove he deserves playing time!

The starting 11 by Otto and the formation was very strong, we had a lot of ball control, corner kicks, and possession in general, my one suggestion would be sub out Khaibar Amani for Sharza, and use Amani as the ST sub, he seems to play better when he is subbed in, as oppose to starting and playing whole 90. Other than that, I really want to see Azadzoy start, as he has a scoring mentality (even for his club Chainat). Hopefully the Vietnam game goes well, a win would help us greatly !!

All the highlights can be seen on the right side of the page:

Farshad Noor was a class above everyone else on the field. He is precisely what we need: a midfield general who can play both sides of the ball and clog the pitch. I see the captaincy in his future.

Mukhammad and Amin had excellent games too. Singapore played right into their hands by playing the ball aerially.
