Arsenal fans, I come in peace.

Is there anyone on the AC Milan team under 25 that look worth a $100 mil transfer? I turned off the game at 25 minutes.

Welstrozzbeck clearly juiced too much - he's like a gazelle on ice

Not that they are worth 100 but I'll also take Kessie and the young Italian CB. Forgot his name.

Give him a break. He tried to get a shot off. His shooting foot clipped the heel of the defender. At the same time he seem to be jumping up after the strike maybe to lessen the contact?

Jitty you should use your superior analytical powers in a more positive way perhaps. ;)

Especially after 2-0 win at San Siro!!

    Nice boys!!! However, soon enough,

Gunners lose! Gunners lose! Will you do the fandango!

I just wanted to say that. So nice to see a good performance away from home.

That goal by Ramsey was very nice. He showed football intelligence that many players don't.

We got cable back so I'm Just rewatching it.

Alexi Lalas's opening comment at KO was "never underestimate arsenal's ability to fail"

    What an A$$wipe!

I was wrong about that earlier. Now in seeing it close-up, Ospina was a lucky boy. If the forward was less honest, he could've gone to ground in a completely believable way. Credit to him that he didn't.

@NorthBank I agree any win against a "big" euro team is a good result

However need to keep in perspective a bit. Milan is 25 points off the top of Serie A table in 7th place.

They are not a good team.

Mhki really showed what he can do in this game given half a chance, especially in combination with Ozil

The key is having a platform in midfield.

Sometime around this point Arsenal had a break and Welstrozz passed the ball behind his own midfield to trigger a Milan breakout

the guy has serious technical issues

Yes, that's somewhat true and I think we had that discussion in this or the previous thread. BUT if you had a Serie A form table since Gatuso has been their manager, they might be near/at the top. I don't follow that league so I don't know the numbers, but this is the gist I get from the podcasts I listen to.

Anyway, even if ACM had a somewhat off night, I think our team deserves credit for managing and executing this win. 2-0 on away goals is BIG, not to mention 2-0 at San Siro which is known to be a very intimidating place.

I don't know, we needed 3 away goals to take down Ostersunds...

I mean, I get your point, but 4-2 aggregate doesn’t add up to needing 3 away goals.
