How many times does Wilshere have to get hurt making this exact challenge before he finally learns?

If he can't go into confrontations like that he should just retire.

On International duty, Mustafi comes up with some sort of muscle tear, maybe significant

Personally I'd just replace him with Mertesacker and cross my fingers that (a) he keeps up with his good form since his comeback in the cup final, and (b) he doesn't get hurt too.

Kos could really use some rest time, rather than throwing him back into that middle CB role. Holding is just too shaky still. And Monreal, as much as I like him, is just not big/strong enough for that position.

Then there's the idea of abandoning a back-3/5 and returning to a back-4. I dunno about that. I'd probably just sick with what seems to have been working lately, inserting very experienced Per.

Yeah but we all know that the other shoe could (and probably will) drop for Jack shortly... i.e. injury. Would be very happy to be wrong about that.

Word is Giroud picked up a thigh muscle injury on France duty. Any other good news from the boys coming back?
