BTW, she says in her book she read "forums" and that made her very disappointed in herself. So yes, you guys caused her to abuse drugs and alcohol. Thanks A LOT.

Unfortunately, I couldn't read the full Post article, as I've used up my free allotment for the month and don't want to shell out the bucks for a subscription. Were the comments in "forums" she mentioned BEFORE she started abusing substances, or were they a reaction to her DUI stop? If the former, then your point makes sense. If they are the latter, it sounds like the comments in forums actually helped her to realize she had a problem. Either way, it's really no laughing matter, and rather classless to try to make a joke about.

Well, I don't see anything about forums in the article. But the article is really a plug for her book Forward, which has just been released and is now available on Amazon, so maybe there's more there. (I just bought the book yesterday, but haven't read it yet.)

LOL, this is like the only women's soccer forum out there.
But seriously, she's the greatest goal scorer of all time.
There was never anything to be ashamed of or to be disappointed in herself about.
Old age in the sport was eventually going to be "inevitable".
