So far this season @aaronjramsey has created a club high 15 scoring chances for Arsenal, all of them from open play & has 3 of nine assists. Per Orbinho/Opta

Ugh, I just don't see it in the guy right now. Obviously the Derby is a bad barometer since it was probably his worst game. But in general, I just don't like him min the starting lineup right now. He works hard, yes. But he loses possession cheaply, his passing seems very average with the exception of the odd hollywood pass that gets through. Really wish Wilshere was healthy.

    Simply too funny.

One of the things that I've come to desire in real life, after hanging around BS for so much of the past 6-7 years, is the way to give someone rep. I'd love to rep whoever created that graphic.

But since I can't find him, you'll do....

Edit: Apparently, I have to rep someone else, but you deserved it bigman.

Though it is probably not true, I've seen reports that Inter Milan will offer 20 million euros for Ramsey...Even if it is true, I don't think I could do it at this point. If he reaches his peak, he could be worth 50 million euros.

2 goals, and 8 assists this season. 89% Pass completion the one the only @aaronjramsey

Happy for the guy. He was abject against Tottenham which I beleive to be more a case of finding his feet. Catastrophic injuries test the spirit of a man and show his resolve. Take a bow son, MOM for me along with Kos and RvP.

Im loving how well he's doing. He just seems to pick up momentum.

Could end up being a career for him. Couldn't happen to a nicer kid.

I think that he was trying too hard and his confidence was low. That goal in Marseille and a few good results should have sorted out that problem. I still expect some inconsistency as the season wears on.

Totally agree with that. Confidence in ones ability is tough enough when you're healthy. Think he's finally starting to trust himself, and gaining that confidence. The class was always there, you're probably right about the inconsistency as he's still young. Arteta helps a lot back there.

I had high doubts for him lately but I must say he is picking up nicely.

Who would you guys compare him to? I say a young Stevie G.

Ramsey was terrific at the Bridge. His confidence is really picking up after the goal in Marseille. Ramsey and Wilshere could form a dynamic pairing. Arteta may not have a starting job by the end of the season...

By the way, I'm new here so hello everyone!

I'm from Philadelphia, but don't hold it against me. I may be new to the forum but I'm not new to the game.

Big game vs. Chelsea, huge vs. Marseille, vs. ManUtd. - take the good with the bad.

I don't think I'm alone in thinking that if he reaches his full potential we won't miss Cesc.

Agree--and that's what Cesc has also said, that all that Aaron needs is "that final ball". He already has an incredible engine. I can't wait for JFW to come back and start this partnership up right.

i think the combination of confidence after the horrible start to the season and arteta establishing himself in the middle (wilshere) role so that ramsey is no longer there has helped him. he's pretty poor at that position and seems to be much more comfortable in the advance (formerly fabregas) role.
