Funny thing is Romania has a pyramid structure ... There are 2 2nd divisions, 6 3rd divisions and beyond that it's regional ... So while 5th division sounds kind of high it's probably like the 400th club in the country. I'm surprised the owner pays them anything. Usually at that level it's basically amateur weekend footballers and they get paid in beer and meat and maybe a bonus if they get promoted. Actually you get paid best if you have a late season game against a team that's close to promotion ... my uncle scored a case of brandy, a few pounds of home made smoked pork sausage and a few cartons of cigarettes to throw a game once.
