Is Season Ticket money non-refundable if you request cancellation before the season, or even training camp starts?
Don't act like it's something only the Revs do. It's pretty much standard practice in the sporting world.
This is true. That said, the Krafts are more stringent than most in the way they run their ticket policies on things such as re-sale of tickets, getting out of luxury box contracts (remember the SJC case from a couple of years ago), etc...? However, in this case, I presume most teams would make you eat the ticket costs.
What would happen in the case of a strike? Do we get refunded for the matches missed, or do the fans have to bite the bullet on that?
I suspect, as with the 9/11 dropped game, your payment would be rolled over to purchase tickets for what ever followed (MLS games) the strike.
I remember during the baseball strike in 94 you got a refund, we had tickets to a game that ended up never being played. But that was a different sport and 16 years ago.
That's also what they did for those who purchased the two-game "playoff package" last year. Since the second home game didn't happen, they put it on your account as a credit toward the next season (or would have refunded if you weren't renewing).
