At this point, the left has to pile up the points before they can pass legislation.. Granted, it is because they have conceded the field to the NRA, but they have to get the points in. Just closing the private sales/gun show loopholes in background checks is a huge accomplishment for gun control.. Heck, getting safe storage laws is hard..

I went to grad school at LSU with a Hatfield from WV who actually was related. Nice guy. Never once saw him bust some birdshot in someone's ass, though.

Any slang past "sparking" leaves me out. Not that we needed to know more words than that back in the day, it's not as if anything much ever happened in high school.

 

No, no... it's just what I said. She was/is a rollerskater, as opposed to a skate(boarde)r. But she skated bowls and ditches like the rest of us. AFAIK, she was the only girl in the area who did. I was incredibly clumsy on skates, and gave it up pretty quickly for 'boarding.
