LOLOLOL @ the Yanited kit, it actually looks hilarious. The logo is way too big, plus it's Chevrolet so it'll make it look like they're a bunch of hicks from Charleston, South Carolina.

 

do you know anything about Charleston, SC? admittedly The Citadel is there, but that's not all bad.

 

Well, I needed a place to associate with redneck culture.

 

if you want SC, Darlington would be a decent choice.

Mobile is a port town, so it's not quite so redneck as some Southern cities.

i think i would pick someplace that's more rural.

 

Fair enough, Charleston, South Carolina for some reason was the first place to come to mind.

 

I think the fact that this sort of discussion can come out of the Man United home kit is saying quite a bit about how ridiculous it is.

 

as I sed b4, it would have been better if the sponsor was Tootsie Roll.

 

So we are back to a fashion discussion of the relative merits of other team's kit. For what it's worth the Mancs looks like pit crew at Daytona.

Now that's a specific red neck reference that fits, if I do say so myself. Wearing one of those you wouldn't be out of place at The Piggly-Wiggly in Frog Hollow.

 

Old family joke from the Texas branch of the clan - they were planning to merge Piggly Wiggly and H.E. Butt (the original name for H-E-B) and name it - you guessed it - Wiggly Butt. (Does this qualify as a red neck joke?)

There was a nice little fight in the Yanited OTT between two Chelsea fans, one of them being the guy who left the Chelsea forum to become a Yanited forum regular. I donno if he switched teams like Chelsea fans typically do when they fail to win a trophy in a season, or if he thought he was better than or smarter than the rest of them, or what.

And this is why it's really funny how people think Liverpool fans are the most cynical. What great entertainment
