True, but that doesn't mean that Kepa had to commit so thoroughly to the role of prey animal.

He’s like a semi-tame farm animal who only bites his owner...

Arrizabalaga is actually a bit easier to remember than Azpilahumidahumida.

Lots of foot stomping the last few minutes... Kinda boring for a bit here.

Playing three games in 7 days can do that to a club I guess.

Pulisic is in that mode where he doesn't pick his head up enough.

CP not having a good game. His passes had been poor, even back passes.

Any good Malagasy defenders out there? I'd love to see a backline featuring Azpilicueta and Razakanantenaina (real name) playing in front of Arrizabalaga.

Pulisic hasn't been bad really, but he hasn't been very dangerous either. There have been plenty of times when it looks like he's gearing up to run at the defense, but either lays it off or has the defender poke it away.

Not even close. Mount, for all his tenacity to start, has disappeared completely.

Interesting, but please let's not have a YA on that team. I'd never be able to finish a post.

Granted, I've only started paying closer attention to Chelsea since Pulisic showed up for their preseason, but I kinda think Barkley is better than Mount. Mount might have more pace and energy, but I think Barkley has more quality on the ball.

I'm waiting for somebody smarter than me to explain what coaching change was made by Rodgers that's led to Chelsea players looking like they're playing in mud.

Pulisic is a tough SOB he's got that going for him. Time for these two clubs to reset this has been ugly for the last 15 minutes.

he looks bad. prob get pulled at 65 minutes. their fans will turn very quickly. they spent a lot of money on this. he has looked weak and frail tbh. when he got dumped on the sideline going for a header, that sums it up. dude literally yelled "are you ok man?". then he almost broke his ankle when a crossed ball slammed into his foot. not looking good

I'll also say that kinda rooting for Chelsea isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. They don't seem to have any really hatable players like Diego Costa or John Terry anymore; I love watching Kante; and the transfer ban has potentially given them a talent deficit compared to other big 6 teams and a little bit of a scrappy underdog feel.

lol, pedro and pulisic both disappeared once Chelsea's midfield lost control. He's had some poor touches but that can be said for most of Chelsea outside the first 25 minutes.

He's taken some hits and gotten right back up. Sky isn't falling yet.

Looked to me like Chelsea ran out of gas after 20 minutes. Pulisic did some nice things, especially early, but was not very good overall.
