Am I missing something here, but with Brazil and Uruguay both being eliminated yesterday, is this the first time in history that the World Cup has had 6 teams remaining all from one Confederation as we now have only European teams? I know that in 2006 and 2010 we had 4 European semifinalists but as both Brazil and Argentina were eliminated on different quarterfinal days, there was never a point that there were only 6 European teams remaining?
