    In that order, or simultaneously?

    Four, you mean.

    Incorrect!

Im sure the Honduras game ended a bit before the Ecuador's one. I ranked them that way since Honduras was the worse of the two teams.

And yeah, it's 4. Mistake on my part.

The Honduran game ended before the Ecuador game. So you're right. For 2 more minutes Ecuador could dream of scoring two goals and making it through.

Similarly. Cote d'Ivoire had more extra time in the first half, starting a bit later and I believe the ref blew the whistle earlier.

With group G's result, 2 more teams are now added to the tally :

    20. Ghana
    19. Portugal

Obviously, both were facing each other and thus eliminated at the same time. Went with Ghana 1st since they ranked last in their group.

2 out of Algeria, Russia or South Korea will be added.

I'm not sure what you're saying there, sorry, it's probably just me being thick.

The BBC give second-half stoppage time as 3:46 in Greece v Ivory Coast
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25285284
and 3:11 in Japan v Colombia
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25455848

Assuming that the kick-offs were synchronised (?) that would suggest that Japan were out first. But I haven't managed to find a commentary / real-time log where anyone states that "the other game has finished" or "is still being played", it was probably too close for that. The matchday thread here doesn't help either.

So, Japan out first or not?

Last night I watched the Russia game live, and hastily turned over when it finished and South Korea were still playing.

    21. Ecuador
    20. Ghana
