Well we have our opponents,USA turns the tables on a very confident France.Not to minimize US but I’m glad it’s them and not France.
We should be wary of USA counters. They're not fast but they are smart. But I think Ecuador's wings will give them a lot of trouble. France only had Diaby on their right as a danger but we have Plata and Alvarado.
I think we’re evenly matched,it’s going to be a mental game,whose tactics will prevail,Celico or Ramos?Celico got the experience,so we’ll see.
USA did play smart. France was holding possession and creating multiple chances to attack. Unluckily for France they missed so many opportunities to score and it started to hit them mentally they left them self open on counters. USA defended aggressively and made good use of their physical strengths. All in all Im glad we got to go up against them and not France cause either way France dominated in possession and shots on goal. Had they been a little more lucky they would have beaten USA. Again guys we have a good chance here to go to the finals.
We definitely have a chance since this team, unlike previous generations, has a very complete team. If one player is having a bad game, another one steps up. I have no doubts that Celico will play the right tactics since he respects his rivals and the boys themselves won't let the mistakes from the group stages happen again.
I prefer if we take it in a game by game basis. If we think we already are in the finals we are not going to get past USA.
Yea my bad for getting ahead of my self but these games are exciting. Kinda saw that coming I really didnt see Argentina or Colombia advancing. Im gonna root for Ukraine and say they will most likely advance to finals. I have the felling that Italy wont advance to finals.
I'd like us to score first tomorrow so we can control the tempo of the game. I don't like having to make comebacks since it tires our players out so quick and we risk injures,
Defense always makes me suffer,Valecilla is not as sharp today.We need to keep up this tempo,their counters are deadly.
