https://www.espn.com/soccer/major-l...ankings-lafc-reassert-their-title-credentials Still at 22 thanks to the soul mates.
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/07/09/power-rankings-minnesota-united-stake-claim-top-10 Still at 22, oh well.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/major-l...op-ahead-of-lafc-clash-san-joseminnesota-rise We lost to the worst team in the league and our prize for that was moving up to 21?
Yes Vancouver lost at home 3-0 to Kansas City, but we also lost at home to the worst team in the league. Cincinnati should have jumped past us and Vancouver into 21st, dropping Vancouver into 22nd and us into 23rd. After we lose to Columbus the NEW worst team in the league we will be number 24. Great Job Nelson.............
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/07/16/power-rankings-lafc-cant-be-knocked-perch-top That's more like it, down one to #23.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/major-l...stay-top-despite-zlatan-dominating-el-trafico No movement stay at 21 because it was hot in Chester, PA.
I seem to remember Danhole Kelly stating that once or twice! (Funny that it is not even mentioned in the Philadelphia rankings. I guess it was not hot for them.)
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/07/23/power-rankings-chicago-fire-head-basement Right where Nelly wants us.
this headline made me laugh a bit. not because it was funny, but because it is obvious to everyone on the planet, save three people in the fire's front office.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/major-l...dogs-at-all-star-breakarenas-revs-keep-rising Back down one to #22. Nothing written about us except "Please see the entry for DC United".
Seems like all the MLS website writers have been, for some weeks now, in a pointedly vague manner ("with this much talent", "constantly changing formation", "lack of an identifiable playing style", been laying the state of the team at Pauno's feet. And these articles will be surrounded by stories about SJ's and the Revs turnarounds after new coaches flipped these teams around with the lesser talent they inherited.
The sad thing is our roster is much better than both SJ and NE, we just need a coach that knows what the fvck he's doing.
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/07/30/power-rankings-new-england-revolution-rocket-top-10 Up one to #23 because we're not a team from Ohio.
Yet, we cannot beat the teams from Ohio. Hell, at this point it would be difficult to beat that "other team" from Ohio-Devo and they are pushing 70 and one of the Bobs is dead. I would predict that Paunovic would still play for the draw
nelson said that was due to unbalanced schedules. Trust the process!!! In all seriousness, what else needs to be said about current management given these damning statistics?
We're No. 1 in ties! If we had only scored 96 more goals, one at a time, we would be on top. We have just been "unlucky," I guess!
It is only unbalanced to the Chicago Fire. It is completely unfair that the Chicago Fire have such an unbalanced scheduled. Really? 34 games against MLS opponents?!? That seems a bit excessive. We are 13-3 against lower division teams in the US Open Cup from 2010-2019. Losses: Charlotte Battery in 2010 Michigan Bucks in 2012 St. Louis in 2019 This
