That was the kind of foul I'd commit if the fix was in. Not suggesting anything unseemly was happening here, but my gosh... he couldn't have misplayed that any worse.
Nagbe article from this February mentioned : Multiple sources have told ESPN FC that Nagbe's current situation has nothing to do with his relationship with new Atlanta manager Frank de Boer, but rather an unspecified issue involving upper management. Nagbe's contract runs through the 2020 season and last year paid him $620,000 in total compensation, the seventh-highest on the team; no one will say whether Nagbe's issue is contract-related.
Which is a rather stunning development. They got into the game very late and dont really have much of a stadium plan aside from " Well, I suppose we could build something but we have a big NFL stadium which we can obviously fill for soccer because Atlanta" Meanwhile just up the road Raleigh has municipal approval to build an SSS, a history of strong minor league support and a deep pockets owner. You know, the 3 criteria that MLS claims are required. Unless you're Austin of course. But Charlotte has the one thing that suddenly .matters more than anything else: an NFL owner. It's the new fad ever since Arthur Blank. Of course Columbus has no room to complain since we benefitted from the same love affair. The astonishing thing is how openly the so-called bidders got hosed. What a sham that was
Rumor has it that Donald Trump is building a wall in Colorado, one that really works. I can only think that this is a sign that the Rapids have not been able to reach an agreement with the Crew for Lalas Abubukar and that Colorado needs a new wall.
I heard they were building it because Colorado didn't one anyone from Oklahoma coming over the border singing "Surry with a Fringe on Top.'
I tell you what. Driving down to OBX 5 or so years ago. We passed though the Appalachians and one of my thoughts was "who the heck decided to traverse all this on foot and horseback 200 years ago?" I would have just said "Nope, I'm good right here, thanks" And then I felt like a complete schlub who can't hold a candle to our forebearers.
Coincidentally, I watched a documentary on PBS the other night about early 20th century newsman, Lowell Thomas, including his treacherous trek through the Himalayas to see the Dalai Lama in the twilight period before the Chinese communist takeover of Tibet. And I had the same sentiment as you -- no way, I'm doing anything like that. This isn't the documentary, and I haven't viewed this (just did I quick Google-and-grab), but I'm guessing it gives some flavor of the rigors of another place and time.
Go to Horseshoe Curve near Altoona sometime (and visit its predecessor, the Allegheny Portage RR not far from there, which shows how it was done before the Curve was open).
That's why Daniel Boone was such a big deal! The Zane family in southeast Ohio led the way in that part of Ohio!
Keep hope alive Chelsey. DCU might still make a coaching change. https://www.washingtonpost.com/spor...at-dc-united-could-look-make-coaching-change/
First trade of the window announced and it's not Nagbe. Inter Miami have acquired midfielder Victor Ulloa and the first pick of the 2019 MLS Re-Entry Draft (Stage 1) from FC Cincinnati in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money, a 2020 MLS SuperDraft third-round selection and the 26th pick of the 2019 MLS Re-Entry Draft (Stage 1), the clubs announced on Monday.
So basically a bucket of warm spit. He was a DullAss homegrown who they cut once, then brought back and a year later FCC gave them a few Garberbucks for him. He'd need a lot more success just to be called a journeyman.
