Went with my wife last night and she is not a sports person or soccer watcher and she made the comment that the Union just looked faster than DC. I think she was noting the faster decision making and passing and not player speed. Also, who let the away supporters have drums? Poor decision by the FO but still pretty dickish of DC fans to try and drown out the drumline before the game. Maybe they didn't notice the drum line had little kids playing and thought it'd be cool to try and mess with their timing by being loud.
I think you bring Trusty in along side Jack Elliot is your best best to stop Martinez. He has scored half their goals. Stop him and we have a fair chance, especially if we can get an early lead.
