I think some of our poor finishing is down to inexperience. A fit and non-rusty Fabian is what we are missing.

Which is a big ask. With his recent history, and his age, The team's own demeanor regarding Fabian has always seemed to border on "what we get from him, is what we'll get."

At what point does this turn into a disasterous signing? I'm not optimistic were going to see him for an extended stretch at any point this season-

Edit disastrous- not sure how Swype spelled that wrong lol

I'm not ready to give up on him yet, let's give him the traditional Dockal half-season at least.

They took a flyer on him with a team friendly deal. If he doesn't pan out this season they just won't pick up his team option and move on. Plus all of the minutes Arronson is getting is only going to help the Union in the short and long term.

They didn't pay a fee, but he is getting paid more than anyone else in team history (dockal was like 1.75 million so it's more than that) and expectations were pretty damn high.I agree it's team friendly for up front costs, but to think we're gonna pay 2 Mill for 1 year with a player who isn't playing is not great

The U will need significant minutes from Fabian...Aaronson isn’t physically ready to play 2500+ minutes.
