Preparing for Concacaf Championships☀️⚽️🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/cX3Tc7cZ8C— Aethan Yohannes (@aethanyohannes) July 13, 2019 It's good to see that some players are already in the final team. Maybe there is already a list and we don't know yet
Mexico has already started training camp ahead of the U15 Concacaf Championship, which starts on Aug. 4. I'm told the U.S. U15s won't convene until 4 days before the tournament starts. https://t.co/PYva6nLJXq— scuffed (@scuffedpod) July 15, 2019

Based on social media, it seems clear that Rotundo, Hot, Craig, Slonina, Yohannes, Leone, Oliva are all called up. Either by their own posts or parents' posts. Not sure of anyone else. I imagine the roster will closely resemble the April camp in Italy with additions of Reynolds and possibly Elizalde if healthy. 75% of the April roster was born in the first half of 2004, with the remaining few in the second half of 2004 and one 2005 (Angel Martinez).
Fede Oliva confirmed. Preparando Concacaf championship 2019👏👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/fCEGxST2fR— Carofeni (@carofenico) July 15, 2019
USA schedule seems to be: Haiti, 8/4 Guatemala, 8/5 Suriname, 8/7 Then the playoffs/finals are 8/8, 8/9, and 8/11. https://www.concacaf.com/en/under-15-boys/schedule-results#tab_team=rounds Obivously, a lot of soccer in a short time. Anyone know if this age group plays 90-minute matches? Team pages are here, but we don't seem to have one yet: https://www.concacaf.com/en/under-15-boys/teams Not sure the roster size and it's too hot to go back and look at previous iterations. In past tournaments, CONCACAF has told me that this is NOT a provisionally cap-tying competition. We've never won this. https://www.concacaf.com/en/under-15-boys/article/mexico-wins-concacaf-u-15-boys-championship Offhand I'm not aware of television/streaming plans, but maybe one of you has seen something. Here's the CONCACAF video page, for what it's worth: https://www.youtube.com/user/concacaf/videos And on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/concacafcom/
⚽️⚽️👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/5Sm0PDhjiY— Carofeni (@carofenico) July 23, 2019 As mentioned, Fede Oliva will be in the championship. The start date will be July 31.
All due respect to their opponents, but it's very likely that the first competitive match isn't for another week after that. I don't see the need to have this team firing on all cylinders at the start of this competition.
From what @Dave Marino-Nachison posted up-thread, our group stage matches are against Haiti, Guatemala, and Suriname, so I would tend to agree with you, don.
Also, the Oliva quote seemingly confirms Steve Klein as the coach for this. (He has been running the team's gatherings for a while, so that's not a big surprise, though it's apparently not a full-time position.) Here's his bio from PA Classics of the DA. http://www.paclassics.org/coaching-staff/klein-steve
Those three opponents are actually much more difficult than I was assuming. Haiti has looked good this year at U17s and Gold Cup, Guatemala is not a pushover, and Suriname is in South America!

Official announcement: https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/20...nt-usa-at-2019-concacaf-boys-u15-championship EDIT: Looks like CONCACAF will be streaming the matches.
Yeah, still unclear how it will be streamed, whether through CONCACAF Go, the YouTube channel, Facebook, or what.
Thats almost the exact same roster. I have a hard time believing they couldn't have swapped out close to half of the team for another half that should be tried out. I also don't know what Martinez has done to be constantly playing up a year at the U-15 NT level, but its definitely something, otherwise he wouldn't be playing with this team. He's a good player, but I don't see him as some uber-phenom.
