How dumb are you? I included the article in my original post and you still asked "Why do you think she was forced?". I believe my original post indicated that. I never said I had any other kind of connection. Again, the article was in my original post. After you asked your question, I then (re-)explained that I thought she was "apparently forced" and then even posted the actual blurb from the article to show why I felt that way. I know you like to have the last word (pompous much?) but our conversation is over.
“Apparently” my “lighten up” comment was a bit premature but accurate nonetheless. This whole thing started with what was an honest question. The name calling and insults, well, that was all you.
Getman is still listed as the Head Coach and no announcement has been made. That is the reason I have not included the position.
Well, isn't that interesting. Filled Rutgers -- Jim McElderry (Fordham) Creighton -- Johnny Torres (assistant) Wofford -- Joel Tyson (Charlotte Independence) James Madison -- Paul Zazenski (was interim) Vacant Louisville Fordham Belmont UNCG American SIUE Liberty Davidson Incarnate Word -- (interim is Chris Fidler) UAB
Tart and Terrier (sounds like a law firm) take it to the women's forum page. You're both whining over semantics.
Fort Hays - DII just opened. Would speculate he got one of the open DI jobs. Maybe Belmont or SIUE. https://ncaamarket.ncaa.org/jobs/11806075/head-men-s-soccer-coach-fhsu-athletics
UVM Men's Soccer Asst .Coach position may have opened up as Ruben Resendes took the Franklin Pierce Men's HC job https://www.fpuravens.com/sports/msoc/2018-19/releases/121718MSOC-Coach
somewhat dated but New Haven head Coach is out https://newhavenchargers.com/news/2...oaching-change-for-mens-soccer.aspx?path=msoc
That caught my eye. My (exceedingly tenuous) connection to UVM soccer -- When I was born, my father was a GI Bill student at UVM. My parents lived in the veterans' trailer park, which was located where the parking lot for the athletic fields now lies.
@tartSoccerFan, this has traditionally been a catch-all thread for men's DI head coaching jobs that are open. Not one that keeps tabs on all soccer jobs. That would be 100+ jobs yearly. Keeping track of that revolving door is tiresome.
Kelly Findley named head coach at Liberty http://www.liberty.edu/flames/index.cfm?PID=36963&newsID=21186
I have heard from a member of UofL athletics that Jared Embick has turned down the Head Coaches position.
I am beginning to take this personally. Louisville wants to steal my coach - twice in my lifetime? That makes me wish bad things upon certain institutions. F Off to Louisville Soccer!
I'm sure that you wouldn't begrudge a coach from taking a position at another college that might pay him better, more security (i.e., longer contract), better facilities, funds for recruiting, etc. This isn't a slight at Akron, because the field and support is pretty good. But a generic argument people move for different opportunities.
