Will be a competitive group and no easy matches. The biggest plus is the minimal travel involved.

Looking forward to seeing what the squad can do with these teams in this foundation building season. A group we could top or finish 4th in and which easily could go to week 6 with all spots up for grabs.

Really happy with our draw. Less travel and decent opposition. Felt it was pretty balanced overall apart from City who have it very easy and Barca in the group of death.

Even if we didn't have a great team, that team which won the CL had a lot of leaders and character. Don't see that in current team. Now, if we had only got a continental manager ;)

Honestly looking at our group we could finish anywhere from 1st to 4th. I’m good with 1-3. Ideally I’d like to move to the next round but if not 3rd will at least drop us back into the Europa and give us an other chance at UCL if we can’t make top 4 happen. On top of giving our young guys even more experience in Europe. We could have done better with the draw but we could have also done worse.

    Aye, that it did.

And was also quite possibly (likely) the worst Chelsea team in the last 15 years.

    Funny ol' game football, innit.

With a European manager. Anyway, given our talent level, we have a better chance in a knockout competition that the league. I don’t get the “making up the numbers” comments.

Valencia might be sacking their manager soon.

    Very soon. He gone.

Interesting reading about the tension with the owner and fans not pleased.

They just got thrashed 5-2 by Valencia. Which means we'll lose this 2-0.
