I believe they have to wait for US Soccer to give the okay prior to selling tickets, since it's a USSF event. It's not going to sell well. We all know this. They couldn't even sell out either of the Finals in 2014 and 2015. I'll be there on July 18, but like @ericlfd pointed out, that's a lot of games in a short period. Plus it's prime vacation season for many folks as well. Hopefully the team makes the tickets say $20............GA again. They're not going to put a lot of advertising into this one either. I'd imagine free parking in Lots B & C again too with Lot A closed. I don't believe Keystone owns the property that Lot A is on, so I wouldn't blame them for trying to keep attendance down around 5K-8K in order to keep that lot closed.
Well.......the Frankfurt game is already included for STH's...............this Open Cup Quarterfinal is likely NOT. Hell, even when they give the tickets away to STH's, barely anyone shows.
Atlanta United had record attendance at their Wednesday night Open Cup match against the Fire. Given the population of Atlanta vs Philadelphia, our team is doing something wrong. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/06/20/atlanta-united-set-us-open-cup-attendance-record
Ahh this old gag. It's say it's more first year charm and actually winning games. PPL was sold out for almost every game in 2010 even though it's in *gasp* Chester. It's empty because they've been an awful team since 2011.
Not to mention Atlanta is pretty much the consensus worst sports town in America. Give it some time this will fizzle out
Union should tell all its season holders to spread the word via social media that the Orlando game must not be missed. If the stadium is packed then it will be an experience most of us will never forget.
The World Cup bump of 2014 brought us as high as 31 at one point, before settling back down into the teens. Heady times.
Got my email today - $10 for STH and not general admission, so you'll be able to purchase your same seat. Same deal with parking
