The GOP and particularly the R's in the Senate are in a serious conundrum with Roy Moore now. While they are calling for him to step down, they are stuck with him being on the ballot next month, they could get Strange to run a write in campaign but that may help Doug Jones the D candidate. They are caught between the proverbial rock and hard place! Don't feel sorry for them.

If Biden was ten years younger, he'd be ideal. Lots of name recogition, an affable style, able to bridge the gap between Bernie's populism and Hilary's pragmatism, and he's from an administration that I'm fairly certain Americans remember with more fondness than the current one. Now? He's too old, and as much as I feel for him losing his son, politically the right moment to run passed him by in 2015.
He also has already run once before, 1988. He lost to the other Clinton. I agree. I do not want him running again.
Hopefully we will see some new candidates, perhaps a la Obama in 2007, but I would be just fine with Joe as well if none appears.

I am conflicted on this Would like the D's to get one more Senate seat and the Doug Jones dude seems to be a really decent and solid person. At the same time, I know that Roy Moore on Capitol Hill will be a total daily freak show! This albatross would be around each and every elected R around the country.

The GOP might push through a watered down tax cut but Corker wants deficit neutral and McCain will likely vote his conscience or be dead when the conference comes around. The idea of Moore being in the Senate isnt funny. Pedophiles should be treated in reaaaally secure prisons/hospitals, not allowed to serve in Congress.
