Bottom line, having more players in European leagues doesn't mean you are plain ''better'' than the other team. It all comes down to whether the team can play as an unit or not. The reason why Iran beats Korea is that we are more a team. Korea is a team of talented individuals, but it only brings you so far.

Credit to Iranian players (individually) on last match though. Saw some brilliant stuff by them.

EDIT: KNT has been demonstrating terrible cohesion.

Lol, we could even end up 4th :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. Now, I don't think that's an impossible outcome.

Absolutely not all impossible, Syria has a good chance of placing second.

If we lose, it will mean Syria won against us. Korea and Syria can't lose at the same time since they are opponents.

CBK had the best record qualifying for WC98' but did horribly at the WC stage. HMB had hype after Olympics but did horribly at the WC.

Nobody knows how we will do at WC under Uli Stielike.

And those who say it is better we dont qualify...

We have the best squad ever. SHM, KSY, KJC, JDW are at peak of their career. If we miss this WC all the talents we have go down the drain. We miss the whole generation.

Thats why we must make it to this WC.

Football isn't just about players. Coaching does matter. Look at what Iran has done. Talent wise they are still inferior to the traditional big three nations (Korea, Japan and Australia) but Carlos Queiroz made them one of the best sides in Asia again. Sack the useless German before it's too late.

No, nearly everyone knows or already has a gist of how we'll fare at the WC under Stielike, you obviously haven't been paying close attention or you're just one blind ass motherfucker to not see the way Stielike's been managing the team let alone our horse shit performances leading up until now to be saying this shit.

3 years have gone down the drain due thanks to our incompetent FA and manager, yet you still think or believe that there will be some sort of a miracle turnover at the WC under Stielike, simply lay off the drugs man. I understand that you still support the team and whatnot, but we've already crossed the path of no return on a sinking ship under Stielike's tenure, and you're only doing yourself a disservice/disappoint yourself even further by supporting the senile fraud, and certainly nothing's going to change as long as the senile fraud is in charge no matter how much hope you have.

Take all of this into serious consideration and stop clinging onto Stielike, but most importantly, be ready to accept us not qualifying for the WC.

While I do think Stielike is not a good manager and deserves the boot, to play devil's advocate, Gus Hiddink was heavily criticized by the Korean press for inefficient results and we were definitely questionable team heading into WC 2002.

Again, it's a moot point to compare Stielike's situation to Hiddink's situation. Yes, Hiddink received heavy criticisms from both the public and press, but then again he had roughly a year to build a team, and as questionable our team looked heading into the 2002 WC, things took a different turn and Hiddink's work eventually started to payoff shortly before the tournament began.

However, that isn't the case for Stielike nor should the same be applied. Stielike wasted 3 years by doing absolutely nothing, and we are looking far more predictable than questionable heading into the WC (That's if we even manage to qualify.) given the fact that our performances have been degrading match by match. To simply put it together, Hiddink is a world class manager and a master tactician that got the job done and could've done more, Stielike is a third-rate manager with a long history of getting sacked that fails at every angle and aspect as the manager.

If both Coelho and Bonfrere were given more time, I'm willing to bet that they would've built a far better team that Stielike is failing to do, and the same applies to Hiddink, give him the same amount of years as Stielike, he would've built a far better team.

Hiddink had tactics at least even when he was called "오대빵". Also, he lost to BIG teams, not CHINA. He didnt really care about the results for friendlies as he believed playing against big teams allowed him to find weaknesses and work from there. He knew how to minimize our weakness and maximize our strength. On the other hand, it seems like Stielike doesnt even know what we are good/bad at. Not to mention, Stielike is given full authorities while Hiddink wasnt.

LOL remember when Stielike tried to hold onto the 2-1 lead over Czech Republic (in a friendly) by his time-wasting substitutions?

havent watched hwang uijo play this season but apparently those who have are furious because hes been stinky poop

you can literally pick any player from korea and you pick the struggling second division striker to replace a player you were using as a wing forward. reserve squad excuse is bullshit there is no rule against selecting a player out of the reserve list. does this old ******** realize hes fighting for a place in the world cup (not to mention his job)? kfa please test him for senility and terminate his contract on the grounds of mental disorder

It's both hilarious and sad how many people were riding Stielike's nuts in the beginning, going berserk on anyone who criticized his managing. Koreans sure love to circlejerk.
