The keeper got the ball in her face and another body blow to the face...Her nose looks like messed up
I think she got hit hard enough to be pulled. Just put a keeper jersey on a field player and pull her for safety reasons.
Back to the keeper injury: She was hit in the nose and there is a possibility of either a concussion or a broken nose. (Yes you can get a broken nose without a nose bleed.) With the game totally out of reach why risk even the remote possibility of really serious injury. BTW: In a situation where the US had used all their subs and the keeper was red carded Mia Hamm once played keeper for a while so any field player can be switched in at the keeper position. The laws of the game even allow a field player to temporarily replace the keeper in a PK situation and then switch back shortly thereafter.
Panama didn't look good tonight. Not sure they'll do any better vs. Jamaica's offensive power & speed.
USA cruising vs. Jamaica. USA has stepped off the gas pedal in the 2nd half. Wednesday should have two good matches.

Actually I think there will be exactly one good match. Jamaica vs Panama will be good but Canada just does not have the ability to hang with the US at this point in both team's development. In fact I think that the US soundly beats any but the top two or three teams in the world unless the US self destructs in some way. My only concern for the US is the one position the US has always been best at. Goalkeeper. Our current crop of keepers are the weakest part of the team and they have had virtually no practice against decent teams in over a year. But even with that weakness the US has no rival that is even close in this tournament.
Against Jamaica, yes. Against Canada, the stats say the US should win, but a Canada win would not be a huge upset.
I've seen though previously Canada not bothering to compete once they made it into one of these finals. rather they just rested their best players/sort of giving up in trying to win the championship game. Jamaica was a must win(in order to qualify for the WC), yet they didn't start what was by far their best player in this tourney ~~~ Nichelle Prince, but once she came(at the start of the 2nd half) she tore up Jamaica's left side defense & turned a tight game into a route guess it comes down to if Prince starts or even plays vs the US to see how badly CA wants to win this time
